The Individual Volumes do not include all of the films in the big box set. Several, including Tobacco Road, are only available on it.

damn, damn, damn....bought this 2 years ago from AFI for $79.99 thinking it would NEVER go lower. This is one heck of a price. And may I tell you in advance - they are not kidding when they say this is one HEAVY mother of a box.

Instant purchase for me. I routinely check Fox Connect for any frontpage sales. I'm certain the "Deal of the Day" wasn't active when I checked this A.M. It was probably sometime before you posted.

I got the Ford set when BN.com had a deal on it at release. The set is a bit hard to handle and store. I would like a deal on Murnau set though.

I got an email about this deal from FOX CONNECT this morning. I don't buy many DVDs anymore, but for $50, this was too good to pass up - particularly since I didn't own ANY of the movies in this set.

FOX CONNECT says the package will weigh 13 lbs. Thank god they don't charge for shipping.

I have a few of these films, but this was too good of a deal to pass up. I have upgraded a few DVDs to blu, but it just wouldn't be wise to upgrade everything.

Regarding the Murnau, Borzage, & Fox boxset... I remember seeing this as an Amazon deal during the holiday. It was at a really late/early time and I forgot to set the alarm. The price was pretty insane (~90), but the reviews were discussing a dump due to the packaging scratching the disks. That kind of scared me off a bit, but I would bite if it hit that price point.
