I swore I wouldn't buy any more dvds, especially since I already own the first 4 volumes sony released, 3 of which are still shrink-wrapped. This deal was too good to pass up. Thanks for the tip!

I got it for 39.99 almost exactly a year ago. Haven't even cracked the seal. Oh well. I got two copies then, one for a gift, and that one has been watched and enjoyed.

To be perfectly honest, I'm surprised that anyone who wants this doesn't have it already, what with the myriad sales on the set over the last year or so.

I bought it for $35 awhile back, and I've been slowly working my way through it. It's been worth every penny and then some. The list price of $95.99 would be fair. $30 is a steal.

Best Buy currently has this on sale for $29.99. I picked one up earlier today.

There is something to look out for on this set. Apparently Sony simply repackaged individual seasons they had laying around. The first Ultimate Collections included the original Volume 7(?) with 3-D glasses and a 3-D episode. Newer printings dump it and remove any mention of the 3-D material.

So a collection of MGM shorts featuring the pre-Columbia Stooges Howard, Fine and Howard was released via the Warner Archive today. Not only does it basically serve as an unofficial Volume 0 to The Three Stooges Collection it also includes the recently-rediscovered Hello Pop! short that was thought lost since the late 60.
