DD 15% Off 11/28 Only with Code

Re: DD 15% Off 11/28 Only with Code
PST and CST are *never* identical. They are 2 hours apart with Central time being ahead (i.e. Midnight Central is 10pm Pacific).
BUT... Arizona is in the *Mountain* time zone and does *not* participate in DST (Smart move there). Mountain time is one hour ahead of Pacific. That means that during DST Arizona time matches that of PDT since the Pacific time has been moved up an hour (Spring forward - Fall back). When DST ends Arizona goes back to being an hour ahead of PST since those people set their clocks back an hour as the result of DST ending.

Re: DD 15% Off 11/28 Only with Code
I posted this thread originally as soon as I read the e-mail about the coupon. I clearly indicated it was a one-day, one-use coupon. I didn't post the expiration time and I apologize. The coupon on the website did make it very clear when the expiration time was.
I can't get over the amount of whining and complaining that goes on here about DD. They used a common marketing tactic, a limited time offer to drive business at a time when most people would otherwise be eating turkey. Every mall store does the same thing with its doorbusters, and Amazon does the same thing with its lightning deals that are only good for 2-3 hours. DD did take their website down before the Thursday sale, probably to set up the necessary programming for it, but they were up and running yesterday.
If I miss out on a deal that's posted here (and I've missed out on plenty), that's my fault, not this Board and not the retailer. They're not in business to offer things at the cheapest possible price all the time. This was an excellent deal, and I bought over $250 worth of stuff, including a lot of Archive titles at what may be the cheapest price we'll see on them for a long time.
DD is still a valuable source for those looking to buy a wide variety of DVDs. It's true that a lot of their good deals are more limited and on a more select group of merchandise, but they're still available. Their current Black Friday prices are still good (albeit without the 15%), and they are still under $10 for hundreds of single disc archive titles, without tax.
I've never had a problem with DD; I'll continue to do business with them; and I'll post whatever bargains I learn of here for those who also want to do business with them. I won't sit there stewing about missing out on a deal and blaming DD or any retailer or any poster on this Board for that.
