Re: Target DVD prices (December 9th - 15th, 2012)

Haw. Looks like the Spider-Man movies are on sale once again. They can't give those away it seems.

Target is advertising a good selection of stuff this week. And there are some pretty good prices in there even though I don't see anything I'm interested in.

Re: Target DVD prices (December 9th - 15th, 2012)

Season 2 of Ancient Aliens is on sale for $9.99 (reg. $12.99). I picked up a copy to go along with the $5 season 1 set I bought at Target a while back. Ancient Aliens: Myths and Mysteries is also on sale but I think those discs are included in the season 3 set.

I also saw copies of Gulliver's Travels w/slip selling at regular price for $5.

Re: Target DVD prices (December 9th - 15th, 2012)

This has been a real busy week for me. Didn't have the time to post until now.

Which is kinda late.

The bonus disc for "Ted" is a DVD, it has a run time of 33:20 minutes.

The bonus disc for "Ice Age: Continental Drift" is also a DVD and has a run time of 54:39 minutes (excluding the games).

Re: Target DVD prices (December 9th - 15th, 2012)

Past tense now in terms of being on sale, but picked up Marilyn Monroe--The Premiere Collection" last night for $24.99. 17 disc set, so that's less than $1.50 a movie. Have heard some online crabbing about the packaging, but for this price, worth the risk, especially since I haven't seen it for less than $45 online or anywhere else. Apparently a 2009 Costco exclusive getting a wider release now.

The regular Target price is still a steal at $29.99, but I the feeling it's probably gone within the next couple weeks, given the way Target changes their displays on what seems like a quarterly basis.
