If you can play Region 2 PAL DVDs then this might be the deal of the month.

Amazon UK has both the CSI: Miami Complete Season 1-10 (59 Discs) and CSI: New York Complete Season 1-9 (52 Discs) in the 2 for £10 deal right now (don't know how long it lasts).

I got both sets with shipping to the US for $18.92.

Thanks for that link to the entire sale. Lots of good titles there, although it looks like the 2 CSI sets are the best deal considering the original price. It's also interesting the number of Blu-rays and DVDs in the sale where the regular price is under £5. Why would someone buy any titles under £5 in a 2 for £10 sale?

Shout's "Route 66" complete series is down to $57.09 (and probably still dropping). It's actually a Wal-Mart price match, where it's currently at $55.95.

Flicker Alley's "J'Accuse" (1919) is down to $20.07 and also a Wal-Mart price match, which IMHO is unheard of for one of their disks, but I'm currently bummed because all this time I thought it was a Blu-Ray. Apparently the only Blu-Ray comes from France and isn't English-friendly.

I'm a mess. Never a huge CSI fan, but couldn't resist and ordered these sets. Nineteen seasons and over 100 discs for only $19 shipped?! How could I resist?

But I'm pretty close to cancelling my order. My backlog is so huge I could easily never get around to these shows.

And yet I hope to be 70 someday, which appears to be an age where one loves shows like this.....

So tempting. I've never seen a single episode, but strangely enough I'm familiar with theme song. Looked up the show and it has all kinds of great 70's actors.

Thanks for posting, Jim. I'll probably just delay in purchasing with the hopes that the price will go back up soon and keep me from adding this to my massive unwatched pile.

This set received the DVD Talk Collector Series rating when it was reviewed.

Then I went back to Amazon and the price had dropped another couple of bucks, ($46.95), which meant it came out to $25.09 plus tax for me.

Couldn't help myself.


And now it's dropped another $2. Cancelled/re-ordered. Maybe I'll just keep refreshing the page for a bit. :D

Yep, same here. One of their sellers (MOVIERUS) lowers theirs then AMAZON does the same. It's came down $6 now since I originally posted. How low will it go?
