Was hoping for better. Just $10 off the weekly sale price, which was a match of target. Cheaper than it's ever been though, I think.

But their seasons were 77% longer than today's seasons. Don't forget to factor that into your calculation.

Or looking at it another way: 235 episodes would be over 10 seasons at today's season episode count (about 22), so it's really less than 8 bucks a season.

It's probably a decent deal and at any other time of year I might bite. But I just dropped too much money in the last week to consider it now.

It's also interesting to note that each episode is a bit longer than what you'll find these days.

I'm the same way concerning the recent spending. I have a few seasons of LITB, and love the show. However, I'm content with waiting. It may take some time, but it will be cheaper at some point down the road.

But considering each season goes for $20-$25+ at most places, it's still a decent discount. $50-$60 was what I was hoping for though.

Good price for an EXCELLENT DVD set IMO! Well worth the $ money for this classic TV show!

That is an excellent price, IMO. I already have Seasons 4 & 5 from Amazon Instant Video when they had them sale (mis-)priced 99 cents and $9.99.

I was just streaming a couple of episodes over Netflix today and saw one that I don't ever recall seeing before.

It went up to $89.99

I think I got those as well. I was tempted at the $80 price, but the mountain of Amazon packages in my living room and my backlog of hundreds of unwatched TV seasons give me pause.

I really want to pick this up, will have to wait until after the new year though. :-\

It's also still $89.99 at target.com, or 85.49 if you have a redcard.

While not the norm, Target has had seasons 1 thru 4 on sale for $10 each.

Good deal, especially if you have any of the $ off coupons to burn from their recent sales. I think lowest it went after this thread was $73.99 at amazon last year, but has been stubbornly staying in the $100 range since.
