There's a thread over at the Classic Horror Film Board concerning SOMETHING going down with MGM and their MOD titles. Exactly what will be happening hasn't been told yet, but conjecture seems to be leaning towards Scream Factory getting their hands on some MGM product. Whether that's the case or it's something completely different, I have no idea.
I'm just wondering if maybe these price reductions have something to do with it...like maybe MGM is trying to both liquidate on-hand stock and wring a few more dollars out of consumers before some of these titles perhaps make it to Blu-ray and/or pressed DVDs. This is ALL conjecture on my part...but I wouldn't be surprised if these get discontinued relatively quickly and pressed versions appear shortly thereafter.

I was going through the MGM titles for the Amazon sale and they only had it available from marketplace sellers, with no buy from Amazon options.

Just an FYI here but I ordered Trapeze also. It shipped right away and was sold by a third party vendor. The cover art on the DVD I received isn't what is shown on the web site. Nowhere on the package does it say that it is MGM except for a sticker on the wrapper that says "Trapeze (MGM Limited Edition Collection)". Nowhere else on any of the covers, front or back. It also says Copyright 2006 JL Enterprises.

Wasn't sure where else to post this, and it's not the lowest these have been, but looks like most of them are down to $12.99, for those who might be interested.
