Here is a review of a limited-edition album/LP that is still available though:

http://ditkalamazoo.com/2010/09/15/i...os-snse-label/

But the artist actually updated and did a remix of the album one the Blue Underground releases came out because he wanted people to know you could get the same movies with the same transfers individually for cheaper.

That original album also references the fact that unlike the people murdered in that Giallo box set, the movies will live on and be improved along with lower prices. Have you even read the liner notes?

Please try to get updated info before posting. I could forgive you as an internet newbie when you didn't know Iris had a re-release, which was as simple as a google search to find out.

Then the alt scene you didn't know about? Granted, that would have been a slightly more difficult search with more reading.

But come on, now you're bringing up music you don't go any depth into?

Redeem yourself, soul brotha'. Put that box set back up on ebay at the original starting price of $18.99. It was bad karma to cancel it so you could set a higher starting price. People saw that and didn't want to come back to the new auction. You put it back up at that original price and I promise I will bid on it one time so you can redeem yourself to the karma police.

The liner notes of the Inhalant tape and LP?? Where is the remix of the Inhalant releases? I haven't read the sleeves in the Giallo collection because it's still sealed. The Inhalant "scapela" tape I have 2 hand-numbered copies of.. 1 copy is still sealed, the other #7/30 and the copies of the Inhalant tapes/LP aren't "re-releases" like the Iris is. The Iris IN THE Giallo Collection is part of a DELETED/oop SET ..Recognize and accept that bro.

Remember the floppy disk? Old and replaced by cheaper and newer technology, just like that box set.

Your set is still sealed. How do we know there wasn't a manufacturing error and the cases are empty?

psychic powers?

I guess the strat Jimi Hendrix played wouldn't be worth anything since they make cheaper ones in mexico.. Or an acetate of a Pink Floyd master is worthless because you can get in on CD?

You'll love this one.. I have 4 of these.. haha and the disc are in there.. just like the disc are in the 2002 Giallo Collection from Anchor Bay.. remember weight-scales replaced by better technology, like digital scales. And wrong again bro, that boxset isn't coming back unless you have a time-machine.

Death Walks at Midnight is $8.99 on amazon.

There's a copy of Death Walks on High Heels for $19.90, also at amazon.

Why do people end their auctions in the middle of the night? How is that a good idea?

Both of those seem to be bootlegs or crap budget releases of some sort. His price for the Ercoli set isn't bad, but not the right place to be shilling it.

The company that did Death Walks is located in the next town over from me and they actually do some good work with their transfers. I have the Retromedia and the Sinister Cinema editions of Invasion of the Blood Farmers and the Sinister edition wins, hands down. Retromedia cropped a full frame film to make it widescreen. After seeing it in it's original OAR, I can't unsee all the heads that have the tops of their heads chopped off on the Retromedia version.

Where can you get the 3rd disc in this set, the soundtrack audio cd?

If your referring to me ending auctions.. not so. The items are just being outright bought.

As for bootlegs.. in most instances they are worth more since the press is such a limited one, like the "Legacy of Brutality" boot issued on pink-vinyl that was lilmited to like 7-10 copies, that sold on ebay for $1,200. And the buyer was well aware it was a bootleg.

OH Ok, I see what your saying. My daytime schedule is full and do most auctions, if able or not sick, very early AM as I do not sleep much at all. I try to spend the time I have left with my 7yr old son which sleeps at night ofcourse.

Well, is the soundtrack audio-cd available anywhere else besides the deleted Ercoli boxset??

And I was informed by a collector that the 2002 Anchor Bay Giallo set has "not for individual resale" on each of the dvd sleeves and I forgot when the dvd's are inserted properly, into the box, the dvd spines make a design. You would have to posses the set to know what the design is and I'm not telling. Not trying to be ugly.. just saying.. hardcore collector's care about that stuff.

SethDLH 03-07-12 12:39 PM

Re: The Giallo Collection (DVD, 2002, 4-Disc Set)

I don't know what design you're talking about. I have 2 of the discs from this set (bought used for $5 each) (along with the other 2 releases from BU) and there are pictures of the spines of the set on Amazon and there is no design.

The Man with the Golden Doujinshi 03-07-12 12:46 PM

Re: The Giallo Collection (DVD, 2002, 4-Disc Set)

Maybe that's why he can't say what the design is?

I'm talking about, once again, the 2002 anchor bay set not the Blue Undie RE-releases or hey maybe the used copies you bought are "bootlegs"?

The Man with the Golden Doujinshi 03-07-12 01:52 PM

Re: The Giallo Collection (DVD, 2002, 4-Disc Set)

There's no special spine image

The artwork is differrent because it isn't part of, you guessed it, The Limited-edition set or your "bootleg" theory..that might also explain the cheap pricetag.

Either way the used copies you bought are not part of the set that was released in 2002 in a giallo (yellow) colored box with special artwork on all 3-sides of the LIMITED-EDITION boxset released in 2002, that is now out-of-print.

The UPC/barcodes register on my sets. That set has obviously been opened.

SethDLH 03-07-12 06:10 PM

Re: The Giallo Collection (DVD, 2002, 4-Disc Set)

 you think the dvds I bought were bootlegs because I was able to buy them individually and they weren't $100. You're an idiot. My 2 discs from that set are exactly as they would be had I paid you an exorbitant amount of money for them. Ever think that someone bought the set and perhaps didn't like a couple of them and sold them? Yea, they're bootlegs, okay buddy. Go back to your dream world where the spines make up some special super collectible image worth hundreds of dollars.

Edit to add- Oh and please tell me where I implied I bought a bootleg in my previous post.

Ofcourse someone could have sold you a partial part of the boxset hince the pricetag. Pay me? The collector will pay anyone for the WHOLE set.

What exactly do you all have against collector's and the value increase of special limited-editions once they have been deleted/out-of-print and are no longer available but in demand??

It's not a dream, it's reality

It's not a dream, it's reality when you have the product, in demand, right at your fingertips and it feels so good.

You do realize the snippet of my post you quoted was more or less defending your price on the Ercoli set and had absolutely nothing to do with the 4 disc giallo set from Anchor Bay, right? So your stance on my 2 discs from the set of "maybe you bought bootlegs as you eluded to earlier" is completely null and void.

I have nothing against out of print discs of value, I have plenty in my collection, I have a problem with you 1. trying to pass off your stuff as some holy grail of collecting when every disc is available either cheaply used or brand new for far less than your asking price 2. making up bullshit stories about your dvds like the spines make some secret image 3. trying to sell your stuff in the wrong area and 4. not even arguing about the right thing when someone is discussing something with you.

technoir 03-08-12 04:30 AM

Re: The Giallo Collection (DVD, 2002, 4-Disc Set)

If your sleeves do not state "not for individual resale" then there not part of the Limited box as anchor bay did release these individually.

"I have nothing against out of print discs of value" -I rest my case.

The cheaper disc are re-issue's not the limited edition boxset that collector's are looking for. I base the asking price on what it is worth. I'm not making-up anything and damn sure not arguing w/anyone. And your the one that brought-up bootleg's. "Right thing??"

technoir 03-08-12 04:35 AM

Re: The Giallo Collection (DVD, 2002, 4-Disc Set)

Sorry, but I'm not going to sale a product for 5 bucks when the asking price is in the hundreds just at amazon alone.
