Can we start a 3D BARGAINS thread?

Don't know if this has been raised before...

Is there anyone else out there who is also interested in starting a 3D BARGAINS thread similar to the BLURAY BARGAINS thread?

I think it would be awesome if we could consolidate any 3D deals especially with Black Friday deals and the Xmas shopping season approaching.

Just an idea!

Sorry if this is the incorrect forum to post this.

vu_guy, why don't you just make a "The Unofficial 3D Blu-Ray Bargains thread" over in the Blu-Ray forum and see what response you get. I'd be interested in that thread, but currently I just chuck my comments into whatever BD thread is close enough at the moment.

At the top of the thread you could link to the Cnet 3D FAQ as well as the Wikipedia list of 3D BD titles. I'd do it myself but I don't have time now (I shouldn't even be posting or reading DVD Talk now but habits are hard to break... I make a bigger exemption on spending time online when BF is approaching as deals are easy to miss).

I do have one issue though... anything 3D BD that works out to more than $20 doesn't really qualify as a bargain to me, so I'd hope such a thread wouldn't highlight titles much more expensive than that. It doesn't take much effort to find most 3D BDs in the $25-$40 range. Getting them for $20 or less is more difficult. Since I know everyone cares so much about what I think (ahem), these are the top limits of what I consider a "bargain":
$5 = max price of a new DVD
$10 = max price of an older BD
$15 = max price of a new release BD or TV season DVD
$20 = max price of a 3D BD combo pack or TV season BD

That said, I will pay $20 for good 3D BD content of stuff I don't already have (which sadly isn't much when it comes to Disney animated BD stuff). 3D is cooler than I expected. I enjoyed Crysis 2 ($10 from Gamefly) in 3D last night and it was cool.
