If you are talking about the Signature Collection we have it for 17.95--so with the 3.50 shipping it's close to 20.

It's gotta be rights issues. Like you say I had to piece together a bunch of my sets by creature. Some of the individual titles are OOP and that isn't an easy thing to do, sadly. No one who just wants a complete collection should have to pay 50 bucks for a pressed copy of "Scars".

There's a nice R2 box set that has, I think, all the monster flicks, including the one offs. But it is OOP and pricey as well.

I suspect you're right. i know in the USA, Warner owns some of them, Sony (Columbia) owns some & I think there are other companies involved.

Have the classic movie blowout type sales slowed?

Thanks for the update. You list it as being a "Remainder Item" so I'm surprised no one else is offering it at the moment at a discount price. It's close to my price, but having spent so much recently during the holidays, I don't know if I can swing it now. I wonder if it will be reduced further in the near future if it truly is a remainder? I love Hamilton and would like to give you the business, but every penny counts these days. Thanks again!

I Finally saw the Mitchum today on a wholesale overstock list, but the price at wholesale was $17, I don't think so.

Well our supplier apparently just ran out (we were selling this thing like crazy)so though I expect to see it again....I have no idea when, and that so far is the best price I have seen it at (my wholesale, not resale).

I appreciate the consideration btw and I am pretty wary of posting our own stuff out of respect for the forum and it's sponsors...but where I see you guys are looking for something and we got it, I chime in.

Re: Random Classic Boxed Sets @ Amazon

CLASSIC MUSICALS FROM THE DREAM FACTORY Vol. 1 is at a good price right now. It's been dropping a dollar a day, but I pulled the trigger today thinking it may go up. I can't imagine it going lower than $12.99, but who knows? Fulfilled by Amazon so eligible for Prime and $25 and over Free Shipping.

Thanks Glen, that's an awesome price. For those like me without prime, & with sales tax issues 3rd parties start at $10.

If you like Alec Guinness at all and don't pick up this set for $12.97 you're really missing out on a great deal for a great collection. I got a set for about half that when Tower was going out of business and I watch every movie in it at least once a year.

Re: Random Classic Boxed Sets @ Amazon

Some classic Blu-Ray books down to $9.99. I know these aren't "boxed sets", but they are "classics" and I didn't want to start a new thread.
