Made In USA (Criterion) $9.99 (or less?) at Amazon

Here at 67% off.
I bought it a few days ago at $11.99, and its been dropping in 50 cent increments over the past few days... don't know how low it will get, but at $9.99 for some Jean Luc Godard...

Anyone know if this is one of titles now controlled by Studio Canal? Normally, I'd wait for blu-ray -- but I wonder if Criterion might be losing the rights soon...

Either way, I ordered one. I'm new to Godard's work, but this seems like a solid price for a blind-buy. Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks OP, I'm in the process of trying to find something to pair it with to get free shipping. Great deal, though.

I think that this is NOT a Studio Canal title. Anyone out there, feel free to correct me on that.

I really don't buy DVDs anymore, but I'm not sure that this one will be coming out too soon on BD, so I picked it up.

(Although, I'm sure that as soon as I say that, Criterion will make the announcement of a Made in USA/2 or 3 Things I Know About Her set)

I wish I wasn't so ambivalent about this film. How about some of the other Godards? Please?

So did I. Normally, I'd hold out for a BD but with Criterion DVDs you can always recoup your money when it's this cheap.

I'm glad I just sold mine for $13.99 on Amazon Marketplace a week before the price drop. Godard is my favorite director but I dislike this film.

Nice find! I went ahead and grabbed this with free shipping via Prime. Be sure to post if you find any more cheap Criterions.

For $10.88, I bit. Like another user said, Criterion discs hold their value when you can find them this low, so I'm not too nervous about having to re-sell it if they announce a Blu-ray.

I've mostly only been buying Criterion Blus also, but if I think it's something that won't come to Blu or will take a while (or in this case is really cheap), I might buy dvds.

I definitely wouldn't place this film with top-tier Godard. It's an interesting experiment but not every aspect of the film works as well as one might hope. It's certainly worthy of being seen, and yet I would classify it as a non-essential ultimately. $10 does seem to be a fairly reasonable price for those serious fans of the film-maker who desire seeing everything he put out.

I was hoping they'd have released Who Is Harry Crumb? by now, but I heard through the grapevine that it'll be part of a John Candy boxed set that's due to be released sometime in October. Can't hardly wait!
