Talk about bad luck...I ordered one mystery set and actually would've been pleased w/the Billy the Kid set, but got the Cartoon Set. Oh well.

This mystery deal was a pretty good promotion/gimmick/lottery for this store when you think about it. It was a fast way for them to unload all those Millcreek sets that people normally wouldn't buy. They must have sold at least 200 Billy the Kid sets in a few days. The only problem is somebody better receive the Puppetmaster or Hitchcock sets. Otherwise, the consumers won't bite again the next time they have a mystery deal if there is no chance of getting a really expensive set like the equivalent of a lottery jackpot.
What happened is exactly how I said it would, at the beginning of this thread. I still would have done it but I already have the cartoon and Billy the Kid sets.

Billy the Kid and the Cartoons sets for me. $4.00 total that's ok. The Cartoon ones I do like old ones so that is fine. Billy The Kid, my brother in law gets this one in place of a dinner for him and his family for his b-day next week (I really have no love for him and they order the items that cost the most anyway I do not care if I own the place or not).

got 3 billy the kid (already on sale at ebay)
1 cartoon
and 1 puppet masters!
So $10 for the puppet hopefully I'll make $10 on ebay for the other 3 sets! I feel like I won a lottery!
