Columbia Noir Vol 1 & 2

Hi folks. Amazon today is selling both volumes of the Columbia Noir sets for $30.49/each. I've been tracking these prices daily for 6 months or so, and this is the cheapest I've ever seen them.

Thanks for the info! I've been following them for a while too, but hadn't checked them in a few weeks. This is why you're a "cool" New Member, guerilla or not.

Looks interesting ...

Columbia Pictures Film Noir Classics, Vol. 1 (The Big Heat / 5 Against the House / The Lineup / Murder by Contract / The Sniper) ...

Columbia Pictures Film Noir Classics, Vol. 2 (Human Desire / The Brothers Rico / Nightfall / City of Fear / Pushover) ...

Re: Columbia Noir Vol 1 & 2

Saw "Murder By Contract" and "The Sniper" as a double feature in LA a year or two ago. Both were good but "Murder By Contract" was really, really cool. A hitman who does not take out hits on women, not because of morals, but becaue women are unpredictable/illogical.

Would love to have these, but lacking the necessary funding right now.

Just as an FYI, volume 1 is a must have for the James Ellroy commentary alone!

Re: Columbia Noir Vol 1 & 2

What about set 2? It doesn't get the love of set 1 but is it still worth $31?
