The Mysterious Walmart 12.00 TV Set List
So Walmart is being very vague in their ads and in the store. There are no signs indicating which of the "60 TV shows" they have are on sale for 12.00
Obviously we know True Blood S1, Sons of Anarchy S1, and Community S1 are in the ad.
This morning I found out that Big Bang S3 was also 12.00.
Anyone else find anything good?

The Walmart here pulled all the True Blood season 1 off the shelves and there was no space for it with the 12 dollar movies. Guess it was too good of a deal for them.

I also noticed Supernatural and Big Bang Theory s03 in the sets but they were pretty picked over already and I was there 30 minutes before the sale was to begin!

Mine did not have Deadwood nor Rome. Damn.
I went to another store, but there was a line that ran outside all the way to the back. It's 39 degrees here. Frak that! I'll try again later this morning after the DVD run at Big Lots.

Mine also had Family Guy: Volumes 1-4 in addition to 5-8.

Lots of Two and 1/2 Men Seasons, Smallville Seasons, Drop Dead Diva, One Tree Hill, Terminator S 1 & 2, Deadwood S3, Burn Notice S1, True Blood, Futurama, HIMYM S1 & 2, Lots of Family Guy, Bones, Lie to Me, Lots of Reba, I'm sure there were others...but no Simpsons, which I found odd.

To follow-up on Liquid Death's post, here's what I can recall seeing...
One Tree Hill S1, S2
Two and 1/2 Men S1
How I Met Your Mother S1, S2
Friday Night Lights S2
Terminator S1
One Tree Hill S1, S2
Bones S1, S2
Sons of Anarchy S1
Gossip Girl S1, S2
Family Guy Vol. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 (plus the Star Wars movies)
Futurama (random volumes and movies)
True Blood S1
Rome S1
Sopranos S1
Deadwood S1
Lie to Me S1
Reba (unknown seasons)
Smallville (unknown seasons)
Drop Dead Diva (unknown seasons)
Big Bang Theory (not sure which season)
Vampire Diaries S1
Note that some of these weren't in the boxes with the others. Five of them where actually IN the electronics section in the pegs. Just look for the PROMO stickers.
(Didn't see Community or Terminator S2 or much of anything else beyond those.)

Re: The Mysterious Walmart 12.00 TV Set List
I didn't see any Big Bang Theory Season 3...only 1 & 2 and while I saw seasons 1-7 of Family Guy, no 8.
Ended up picking up Big Bang 3 at Target...wasn't really happy with the selection, movies or series, at either store.

Got back from the second Wal-Mart, their selection was worse than the store in Colton, CA (mega WM). No Rome. No Deadwood. Grand.
I did go to the DVD section in electronics, no luck there either.

Add Two and 1/2 Men S7 to the list. I bought it since I had the other 6 seasons.
Also add Family Guy V7 and Friends to the list.

Re: The Mysterious Walmart 12.00 TV Set List
I didn't find any HBO series except True Blood S1 and Eastbound & Down - really wanted Rome. Did see Big Bang Theory S2 and S3, Supernatural S1 and S2 and most seasons of Friends. Lots of Futurama but they're currently cheaper at Amazon and a couple of the Futurama movies I picked up felt so light that I wondered if there was a disc in it.

went back at 5am this morning and it seemed like they put out another pallet of the $12 season sets. Most of the titles were listed above. Was lucky enough to find a Rome S1 in the electronics section so picked it up. I passed on Deadwood since i knew i would want S2 and S3 if i bought S1.

Re: The Mysterious Walmart 12.00 TV Set List
I had no intention of going out ... we're in the process of moving and needed to get a serious dent put into it today. However my wife sent me to Wally-world for a few groceries around 11:30 ... I took the Target ad in hopes of PMing the mis-pictured LOTR set (of course Walmart had none in sight) ... however they had lots of the doorbuster stuff left (I'm sure it was pretty picked over though) ... I stopped to look in a displayer and there were Seasons 1 & 2 of Deadwood!

Re: The Mysterious Walmart 12.00 TV Set List
At my Walmart in Mississippi, the Deadwood S1 and Rome S1 seasons weren't in the promo display, nor were they marked with promo stickers in the regular racks in the Electronics section. I grabbed a copy of each, along with a copy of Deadwood S2 and Rome S2 and took them to the nearest price check scanning unit. The S1 sets scanned at $12, and the S2 sets scanned at $29.96 (which is what the shelf stickers had showing as the price for all four season sets). I left the S2 sets in the nuts section near the scanner and took the S1s to the checkout.
It might be worth taking a shot at it if you find them in the Electronics section, although as always with Walmart, YMMV considerably.
