Looks like I need to take a trip to hunt for Teen Titans. Picked up Season Two at Ross right around Christmas. Also need to look for UCB.

I bought the single-disc edition of Metropolis at Best Buy when it first came out. I sold it a few years ago. May buy this double-disc edition if I come across it. For $3, you can't go wrong.

Re: Big Lots Part 9 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

It looks like Bridgeport, Tacoma Wa also got the batch a week ago. Ironically that was the one store I didn't check as no one else in the area had gotten anything & they are usually low store on the totem pole. Went in tonight & there were a few of the newer titles others have reported from several labels. Didn't purchase anything as they'd been out for a week & were quite picked through. Appeared to be multi label, & mostly $3.

Darn, I missed it! I was just starting to feel like a young, spry, schoolboy again. Ah, the memories...

I'm jealous of those who found Bosom Buddies. No sign of it at the Milwaukee stores. Perhaps I should go more often. I hit one store 3 times a week, and the other two stores just once a week...

Wow. Woody Woodpecker V2 was one of the $6 titles on BF. Since BL jacked up most of the $6 prices to $10, I'm thinking this $3 price you saw was a price mistake rather than a price reduction (which is very rare for BL). Price mistakes aren't too uncommon. I've seen the same DVD for 2 different prices the same week at nearby BL's. For a few weeks my nearest BL still has Twin Peaks S2 sets with stickers for $6 and $10. Apparently nobody has noticed and nobody wants it at $6 let alone $10.

Re: Big Lots Part 9 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

Stopped in the Egg Harbor and Toms River NJ stores this week on my way to Atlantic City. Hoped (against hope) for S1 of Hawaii Five-0, S1-S3 of Wild Wild West or any Brady Bunch.
No luck.
But if there's anyone into S2 of Twin Peaks, I'd conservatively estimate I saw about 15 copies of it between the two stores.

Re: Big Lots Part 9 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

Target has both Hawaii Five-O s1 and s2 for 14.99 on their value tv series wall.
Not exactly 10.00 but better than what it usually sells for.

Did you happen to see any J*A*G seasons in your travels?

My last visit to the Niles,IL location for this trip and, gee, what a surprise, nothing. Back to SoCal but burnt out and done with BL until substantial new finds are reported.

Thank You.
Yes, I definitely recall seeing JAG sets in the Toms River store. Since it's not a show I have any interest in, I didn't pay enough attention to which season(s) they had, but I do recal seeing it.

Check you local Target for a "Brady Bunch" S1/S2 2-pack for $12 or $15 ($12 thru Saturday the 12th). Look in the "seasonal" area of the store for a cardboard display with lots of other 2-packs. See the "TARGET -- 2 packs of TV sets -- 19.99" thread for more info and other 2-packs. The "Brady Bunch" S1/S2as well as "I Love Lucy" S1/S2S1, "Sabrina - The Teenage Witch" S1/S2, and "CSI" S1/S2 are available at Target online for $12 plus shipping. You can also check there to see if your local store(s) have any stock. In either case, they'll still be less than the $10/each BL price.

Re: Big Lots Part 9 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

Is anyone planning a stop to the Big Lots in Toms River anytime soon and if so will they pick up J*A*G s5 or 6 for me if it turns out they have either or both?
I endeavor to trade but will buy outright.
Much thanks

First this was marked $8, then $5, now $3. I got mine in a sale for $3, so I guess it doesn't matter, but it just seems like you have to be careful when you buy ... even at BL.

That disc has a trailer for HD-DVD on it too, though that movie was never released on the format. Wonder if Universal has re-done the DVDs that had that trailer so they can take it out?

Re: Big Lots Part 9 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

Pearl Street (Tacoma WA) got a small $5 multi label (Universal, Warner, & Paramount) batch. While it was somewhat picked through (it had been out all day when I got there) the Woody Woodpecker V.2 box was the only title I saw I considered a bargain at $5.
