I've been looking for that, too, with no such luck.

Kent, Wa got the same $3 batch that Pearl Tacoma did other than larger quantities of the same titles.

Re: Big Lots Part 9 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

My local BL finally got it's first decent amount of new titles since Christmas (not counting the $10 tv sets, many of which are still there). I only bought WOODY WOODPECKER & FRIENDS VOL. 2 since it was only $5.00 (someone else mentioned it's $10 in their area), I saw among the new $3 THE THIN MAN (have the full set or else I would have grabbed it), CIMARRON (1931), LAND OF THE LOST SEASON 3, and yes, BROWN BUNNY.

Re: Big Lots Part 9 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

I don't think anyone mentioned this one yet, but I spotted a few copies of Get Smart: The Complete Series for $3 yesterday (the short-lived 1995 Fox revival show, not the original '60s series, sadly).

The $6 Nickelodeon/Dreamworks kids stuff that has been collecting dust since Thanksgiving has been put on clearance for $4 a disc at the 2 stores I checked. Still not that great of deal.

Thanks for mentioning this. I was hoping that one would show up at Big Lots eventually.

NOTHING new in NY area. No Krull, Candyman, Woody, Sabrina, Drawn Together, Worst Enemy, etc. Just the same 74 copies of Drillbit Taylor (same unrated version, some marked $3, some $5), 42 of Twin Peaks S2 (some marked $6, some $10), a half dozen Evening and Cry Wolf, and 2 or 3 American Samurai and Dead Pool (slashed code cut outs).
Blimey.

Re: Big Lots Part 9 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

I found "Rush Hour 3" 2 disc at big lots here in Ohio. they had around 5 copies, but i noticed 2 or 3 had chris tucker on the left side and jackie chan on the right, and then on the other ones, it had jackie chan on the left side and chris tucker on the right. different poses also by both people on the covers. has anyone seen this and know why they are like that?

During the making of the first one, the two actors were arguing about who gets top billing. Chan thought of himself as the main star because he's been in more movies. Rock thought of himself as the top star because he was on top of his game in the stand-up comedy he does and that he has more airtime in the movie.

As a joke, to settle the issue, New Line made 2 sets of posters and dvd covers with the actors on each side. Then the buyer chooses the one they want.

Re: Big Lots Part 9 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

I picked up a few DVD's today. Nothing that hasn't been previously mentioned though I don't think:

Upright Citizens Brigade: The Complete First Season - $5
Kath & Kim: Season One - $3
Afro Samurai: Resurrection (2-Disc Special Edition Director's Cut) - $3
Mystic River (Three-Disc Deluxe Edition) - $3

I didn't see any copies of My Own Worst Enemy though which was mainly what I was looking for.

Re: Big Lots Part 9 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

The store on Vineland Ave in NoHo has some more stuff in. There were more trays of the new Columbia and Paramount titles from the past few weeks: Oliver, Where Angels Go Trouble Follows, Affair in Trinidad, Rustler's Rhapsody, etc. One title I haven't seen before: The Strange One (Ben Gazzara, George Peppard).

They also had a lot of the Echo Bridge 4 movie collections, all types of genres: Horror, Action, Sci-Fi, Comedy, Romance, Western, Hallmark....

A few of the Echo Bridge 4 title discs
For Your Eyes Only
The Tattooist

Narrow Margin (1990 remake)
The Day Of the Locust
To Catch a Thief
Running Free
Dead Again
Gallipoli
L.A. Story
New York, New York (2 disc)
Leprechaun
Oh What a Lovely War
Arsenic and Old Lace

Aw man I would love to find Strangers With Candy! That and Upright Citizens Brigade are the only Comedy Central dvds I haven't come across. The search continues.
