The Binghamton, NY store has signage up for 2 for $5.00 on the $3 titles and 2 for $9.00 on the $5.00 titles - but at the bottom of the signs it states sale starts 1/12. (Typical sale price for the $3.00 titles, but think they should have gone with a 2 for $8.00 to move out some of the $5.00 ones.)

Went to the local BigLots yesterday (the one with the largest selection), they had a long row of display boxes of DVDs, you'd think I'd be able to find something, but Nooooo. Just MORE of the same old crap... -kd5-

Are you sure you saw DIFFERENT volumes? I've never seen anything but S2 Volume 2 at the many Big Lots I traveled to... I don't think S1 came in volumes. I'm hopeful that S2 V1 is out there somewhere...

last week, I saw the single disc Gunfight at the Ok Corral and Save the Tiger. these are from paramount's 2009 catalog title massacre. I still haven't seen Foul Play (also discontinued in 2009), and I also would like to find To Catch a Thief CE and Texas Cyclone. Other 2009 discontinued titles not seen yet to my knowledge are Just for You/Here Comes the Groom, When Worlds Collide, Anything Goes, The Greatest Show on Earth, The Shootist, Stalag 17, The Ten Commandments 50th, El Dorado regular and CE, and A Place in the Sun. I hope they turn up sometime.

It was posted by someone in the B&N thread, and I believe also in the Crazy Box Sets B&N thread. Personally, I didn't buy it. I didn't know it was a smoking deal. But I was incorrect. It was $37.49, but after 8% cashback it would have been under $35, before tax...

Sorry. I only mentioned it because I tend to follow this logic: "If it hit that price once, it can hit that price again in the future"

picked up a few 4/10 yesterday. don't know if this extends beyond Wed though.

A Halloween DVD (SKU ending 7468) rang up for 2.00. So if there are any old horror DVDs, they may be marked down to 2 bucks. I don't think this was part of the sale since it did not say .50 discount on the receipt.

After seeing these Big Lot threads for months, finally decided to take a trip over to one at lunch today. At the Albany NY store, I picked up:

Busby Berkeley Collection vol. 2 - $9
The Fugitive Season 1 Vol. 2 - $6

There is one more in the area...perhaps I'll stop by that one next week (be nice if I could find volume 1 of The Fugitive).
