The difference is that if you order from Family Video, you'll pay shipping, but you'll probably receive what you order someday. If you order from DD, you'll probably never receive anything, give up after a few months, cancel the orders, buy them somewhere else for a bit more (and then if you're really lucky a few weeks after you think you canceled your DD order they will ship the items to you and you'll have a return hassle). That's exactly what I expect will happen to me at some point. However, I'm not ready to pay any more than my DD order for any of these items now, and I don't see the Gangsters set here.

I'm thinking DD is losing a lot of customers and if they don't start shipping a lot of stuff very soon, I don't think they're ever going to get those customers back.

In my humble opinion,DD is done,time for them to close the doors,they have put the nail in the coffin for the final time with me on my last order i made with them over 2 months ago and still awaiting 4 titles.there is a serious problem with this company,they use to be pretty good but that was sometime ago,they have gone down hill for awhile now.The movies i am waign for where with bogo and guess what,the free ones are the ones they say are backordered but guess,the ones i havd to pay for i have received,mmmmm is this obvious?

I sugest everyone to stay clear of them,they are withholding the truth from there buyers,if you dont have product,dont offer it.

DD as in deep discount? why the hate? i have been using DD for along time now and have never had problems with shipping.

What I don't get is Amazing Stories S1 is available on DVD yet S2 is not.. S2 is available (only until Monday 11/08) via Netflix.... with no DVDs available.. so I gotta watch 24 episodes very fast to see it before it is gone.........

I might pick up Surface, SQSV S2, and E:FC S1. Great deals at $10.

A shame that SQSV S1 is never a part of these deals.
