Black Friday

Hello everyone, I was just curious when members will know about the Black Friday deals this year? I remember every year certain members post prices, etc. I just don't remember how early before BF it was? Any rough estimate?

Re: Black Friday

We'll see info from the main electronics retailers probably about 6 weeks or so from now, probably in mid-November.

Re: Black Friday

bfads.net is usually a pretty good place to look, although it is still pretty early.

Like the above poster said, expect to see ads in the next 6 weeks or so.

Yeah, they usually don't start showing up until a couple of weeks before the big day.

Re: Black Friday

I'm hoping The Big River (That's http://amazon.com for those of you in Rio Linda!), will do the same thing they did last year and "Match" the prices of Targhee and BiBi's (Target and Best Buy) on Thanksgiving. Then,"The National Day of Insanity" will simply be a "Mop-Up" for me!

What I did last year.

Planning for an even bigger purchase day because I'm purposely leaving DVDs off my wishlist this year. (last year's list preventing me from picking up a ton of great deals)

Everyone already knows the deals. Nobody feels like posting them.

Re: Black Friday

Amazon had the best BF deals last year by far (in regards to DVD's and BD's). Hoping they do so again.

Re: Black Friday

Maybe I've been living in politically correct California for way too long, but isn't this supposed to be called "African-American Friday"? I thought it was bad to say "black" anymore.
