I was doing a little trial and error regarding Sony Manufacturer's coupons, then I came across the Sony Pictures website for Community.

There's a coupon pictured and it says

GET $5 OFF COMMUNITY NOW!

Use Coupon Code SONYFIVE at Amazon.com.


However, I've tried entering it but it won't accept the code.

It was in the stage where I couldn't cancel, but I haven't received a shipping notice.

I actually was given a $5 refund to my account, but cancelled my order to apply to a new one. It might delay my shipment a couple days, but I have plenty to watch to tide me over.

They are quick. I did the same: Placed my order, sent an email, and the $5 was applied nearly instantly. $13 is a steal for the funniest show on Network TV.

Mine shipped from Amazon just a few hours ago, but they did give me $5 in promo credit in lieu of the SONYFIVE coupon. So it all worked out.

Oddly, they denied my request. The rep said that they were not participating with the promotion. And the code is not working on their website.

The coupon code didn't work, but I placed the order anyway and then contacted them about it. If they apply the code, then I'll leave the order be, but if they say they can't then I'll cancel the order.

Mine is in the Shipping Soon phase (even though it wasn't earlier when I initially emailed, and the CSR thought I was asking about some random $4 VOD credit at Amazon, and didn't do anything for me), so when I called just now, I spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to get this shit straightened out, and nobody could help me. I just emailed back one more time, with a link to the coupon again, and I'm hoping somebody will help me out. It's ridiculous how un-helpful talking to a person on the phone is at Amazon, vs. emailing them. This will be the last time I ever try to talk to them about something on the phone.

Called Amazon, talked to a great CS guy, my order was too far in (prime) to adjust the price so he gave me a $5 credit on my account. Took about 5 mins. It was sweet. I planned on getting the show at some point so for $13, its a steal.

Thanks for posting about the $5 coupon! I called Amazon CS, they placed a $5 promotion on my account and was able to order for $12.99! I would've prefered dvd, for $13 its impossible to pass up for this show!
