Finally got the display, full, nobody picked it over. They only had the 1 disc superman snapper case, and NO Natural Born Killers.

Just a note for all those interested in buying 'The Beat that my Heart Skipped'.

I had two copies and finally got around to checking them.
first one was a screener,
second was the normal dvd.

I searched the case and in a few seconds found a difference whereby you might be able to tell without opening it if it is a screener or regular dvd.

Look on the spine. The #'s at the bottom should have a series of letters and numbers.
Here is what I found.

If it has FLV5472 good chance its a screener.

If it has FLV5472A good chance its the normal dvd.

At least mine worked out that way, so I assume that 'A' was the second run once they noticed they already released the first group as screeners.

There ya go, hope that helps.
You should be able to see the spines on those 3 packs and see what number is listed.

Hit about half a dozen stores in this area and never saw Tilt OR Playmakers at all.

I've been looking for it as well and haven't seen it at any of the 3 local stores. Found a 5 disc Bronx is Burning but it came with two different Rose Bowls.

I just seen a new group at mine today. It included a 3 pack of sports movies that had the movie '3' (Earnhardt movie) on blu-ray as part of the 3 movies, all for $3 bucks!

I try to go to my local BL every Friday, and tonight there were three shelves back in electronics with lots of the ESPN 3paks, Game Show collections, Coach season 2, and lots more I can't seem to remember. The $5 "previously enjoyed" DVDs were up near the registers, kind of hidden, and seemed like the typical selection. I prefer new ones, so I picked up:

Incubus/Z/Strings (looking forward to Strings, but all 3 look quirky)
Very Best of All Star Family Feud
Game Show Moments Gone Bananas
Eight Legged Freaks

Same round of stuffs here... More ESPN titles. I picked up Black Magic after the glowing reviews here and on Amazon. I'll spin the March Madness disc. Babe Ruth has already been recycled.

In other words... Nothing new.

I enjoyed the March Madness DVD, not much in the way of new clips, but still fun to see some of the all-time great moments. You'll have to pick and choose the highlights you want, Johnny, since one involves a certain Duke player's big shot many years ago. Though to balance it out, there's an in-depth look at the '98 squad's tourney comebacks.

Found some ESPN titles of interest today in the $3 bundles...

Tilt 3 disc / Playmakers 3 disc bundled with Before They Were Pros (Reggie Bush, Vince Young, Randy Moss, LaDainian Tomlinson, Shaun Alexander).

ESPNU Honor Roll: College Basketball Volumes 1, 2 and 3 were spread across three of the bundles... Manning vs Manning (2 disc), Sports Century Gretzky, Friday Night Heroes and Through the Fire (2 disc) were in those bundles.

Also an Ali title and Inside Access Jeff Gordon (meh, not a NASCAR fan).

Spotted but didn't pick up... ESPNU Honor Roll: The Best of College Football (3 disc). The box was labeled widescreen letterbox but no mention of 16X9. Otherwise, I would have snagged that one as well.

To answer my own question a few weeks ago, I found the ESPN 3 pack with 3: The Dale Earnhardt Story 2-disc / Through the Fire / The Junction Boys. This 3-pack has its own box for these 3 dvds only.

I grabbed a couple of the Tilt/Playmakers combo packs. One for me one for my cousin and another for somebody else. The ones I saw all were paired off with "Best of the X-Games" DVDs. Left some just incase others were looking.

Nothing out of the ordinary, lots of ESPN titles including a whole bunch Muhammad Ali docs. I grabbed a couple of other 3 packs (one with the Promotion and another 3 pack of Horror type movie with Never Cry Wolf and a movie with Kristi Swanson)

Picked up Junebug, Sleuth (remake), and a 3-pack with Hugo Pool today... Still looking for that 5-disc Bronx is Burning. Doubt I'll find it. They have a gazillion of the 3-disc ones here...
Anybody else find it odd that Lassie is packaged with practically everything except the sports DVD's? It's even packaged with seriously gory horror movies. Now that's family entertainment!

Yeah man, Turfland...

Eastland; I stopped at Friday night and they didn't have them.

Buzzed by Turfland today (yesterday now) and they had them. Only 2 or 3 of the Tilt / Playmakers bundles. They weren't there last weekend. Nor were the College Basketball titles. A few of those scattered in the ruins but I found mine on the wire rack.

I've made it a point now to stop in at least once a week at both locations.

Both The Beat that My Heart Skipped seem to be the screeners.

Can anyone recommend ANY of these titles? I have been searching on IMDB and all of them seem to be pretty much crap (at least the horror ones). I can't believe I'll probably returning a bunch of dollar movies.
