Re: Amazon (12/14-12/18) Weeklong Lightning Deal Calendar

There may be a couple of things I'll bite on. But it won't hurt nearly as much as BF.

Thanks OP!

If the Bourne trilogy is a good price, I'll be getting that. No way in hell do I want these as flipper discs.

Pretty anemic prices, especially for regular DVDs now that we're not interested in BDs priced over $10. Tomorrow, I'll be getting Ferris Beuller's Day Off BD and crying that I paid about three times as much for that Superman box a few years ago.

I went to the link in the OP, clicked on Father of the Bride to see what edition it was and it takes me to a link for Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Re: Amazon (12/14-12/18) Weeklong Lightning Deal Calendar

Am I correct that the individual Bourne films in the trilogy box do not have a upc? My only hang up is that I couldn't really get rid of the box if one day I wanted to trade them in. Not that I see myself doing that, but just in case.

I'll have my eye on a few things this week. The fact that I have that free Amazon Prime trial will make it much more likely that I'll make a purchase.

Babylon 5 is a maybe depending on the price (that and if they ever BR it I would definitely go for it then) and I'll definitely have to look at Briscoe County on Thurs.

I wonder how much the Babylon 5 sets are going to be? That'd be sweet if they were down to like $15 bucks each.

Especially if it's still in its shrinkwrap, like mine is

These about to go live:

12pm - 4pm PST
• Gossip Girl: Season One - $16.99
• A Christmas Carol - $5.49
• Woodstock: 3 Days of Peace & Music Director's Cut - $8.99

Looks like Ferris is definitely the later deal, just over 4 hours from now.

At a "lightning deal" of $11.99/ea. why wait for "Kung Fu"? You can pick up the entire series currently for only $33.99, save $1.98, and get a outer box for the series.

Re: Amazon (12/14-12/18) Weeklong Lightning Deal Calendar

Is the picture quality of Ferris Bueller's Day Off [Blu-ray] significantly better than the standard DVD version? Very tempted to get it but I already have two copies on regular DVD.
