OEDIPIUS!!!!

Last year, I was one of the people caught out when they dropped the Mad Men S1 Blu a couple of bucks from the original price, but I was able to delete the original order and rebuy. This time, they're locking down the orders immediately and thus screwing those who bite early. Kind of a jerk move IMO since they won't price adjust.

I can't believe how much money I have spent on DVD's in the last week. Combine that with the Criterions I bought earlier this month from B&N, and I have spent a SHITLOAD of money on DVD's and BD's. Man, I am going to be HATING my next c/c bill...

Lots of great prices available all over the site...worth scrounging through the full list of Black Friday deals to see what you can find!

Among the current lightning deals, Mary Poppins looks like the clear favorite...45% sold in the first seven minutes. Not too surprising; every Disney title they've offered has sold out.

Should anyone be interested, Amazon is price matching Target on the first two seasons of Flight of the Conchords, at 8.99 each and the second season of gossip girl at 12.99, now.

I'm so glad that they're matching it, because I really didn't want to fight the crowds at Target tomorrow. I just ordered the second season, as well as Dexter: Season One ($12.99) and Young Frankenstein ($3.49). The latter was a nice find to put me into the free shipping threshold.

I don't know why they included the 3D version in Blu-ray....it looks horrible. I actually turned it off and switched to the regular Blu-ray version after the first 5-10 minutes.

Left 4 Dead 2 might go to $34.99 on Amazon. If you look at the description of the next lightning deal. Looks like they are matching all the BB doorbuster EA sport games as well throughout the day.

I purchased it off Best Buy last night for $34.99 + tax, but when the deal came up this morning on Amazon I went ahead and put it in my cart and kept it there all day. I decided a couple minutes ago to go ahead with the Amazon order (which was still discounted in my cart even though it sold out hours ago) because Amazon had a delivery date of Dec 1, while Best Buy could only give me an estimate of sometime between Dec 2-9.

are we likely to get any better than $15.99 for the Hangover bd? seems a pretty nice deal to me...

Picked up Monsters vs Aliens BR since it had a decent cast for the voice overs.
Usually I don't like animation but I'll give it a chance....

Wow... Friday's deals are almost a letdown compared to everything else this week. Already have 90% of what they're offering.

Side note: Unless I missed them, Amazon doesn't seem to be price matching Target's $7.00 Rock Band Unplugged PSP or Wal-Mart's $25.00 price for The Sims 3 PC.

Coraline's back up to $14.99.

These price fluctuations are annoying. You just don't know when to purchase.

I had Dexter S1 in my cart for $15.99 (which is a good price), but it changed to $14 before I could buy. But now it's $12.99? In the same day?

Come on, Amazon. Pick a price and keep it there for at least a day.

I'm going to have a hard time defending myself on Tuesday with the mailman. I have 11 distinct packages scheduled to arrive that day thanks to Amazon. That's in addition to all the other ones coming today, tomorrow or Monday. I need them to stop.

Look on the bright side guys, USPS needs the business so we can hopefully avoid another stamp/service price increase. Also, I just hope all my orders (3 so far) comes on one day so they don't have to make separate trips.

Sadly, the only movie I purchased so far is Casino Royale for $2.

I completely agree. I had Eastbound and Down in the cart for $10 but now it's back to $20 while the Joan Crawford set is down $2? Forgot it. E&D will be available at a cheap price later on and I can wait on the rest. I've bought enough stuff over the past month to feel above dealing with this hassle. I really hate the way they are doing the sale.

Right there with ya... a great sale that would have been a real pain without the Prime shipping trial.
