Okay, thanks. I wasn't sure if I missed a lightning deal where it was cheaper. I ordered it.

Quite a lot of people must still be interested in Transformer 2 (BR) since it just sold out.

With the time zone confusion, I thought I'd missed out on this, but managed to get one. The lightning deal box said approx. 97% sold out with nearly three hours left to go. So it must be selling . . .

EDIT: apparently sold out, according to the post above me!

Woohoo! They've finally matched all of the Supernatural seasons! Nothing left to wait for now, although I'll probably pick up Iron Man tomorrow, but I won't be upset if I miss it.

Aw, crap. My Amazon order can't be changed now. What's my best move? Buy the Walmart version and return the 1st to Amazon? What will that cost me? If it costs $2 to mail back the disc to save $2.81 at Walmart (w/tax), then it's not worth it and I take the hit. Drat.

I think there's a way to return it to Amazon for free if you don't open the package. I'm sure someone nice here will explain it to you.

I passed because it was $13. Too many $10 and less movies around right now makes $13 seem high. I'd have been all over it at $10 though.

+1...hard to blind buy a movie for $13 at this point...especially when i haven't heard many good things about it (enjoyed the first one though).

This has been a great sale though...I've picked up DVD's of The Black Book, Young Frankenstein, Horton Hears a Who!, and Blu-ray's of Braveheart & Gladiator (rebates will make these almost free). I'm probably going to get the Cars BD gift set for my son...and the Kung Fu Panda DVD too. I may bite on that Mad Men S1 BD as well...$15 is nuts.

I have to say...I love the Disney combo packs...it makes going Blu on kids movies that much easier. I really wish Horton & Kung Fu Panda came this way...but for $5...I'm not complaining.

Loving Amazon right now...except for the fact that they don't carry the Target WoZ BD...That is the only reason I'm even thinking about going out and dealing with the insanity tomorrow.

-100 for uncalled for snarkiness.

I have eight other items in that order (which you could see) and I'm not refusing delivery for everything over this.

Picked up so far:

Braveheart
Dark City
Ice Age 3
Sweeney Todd
There Will Be Blood
Tropic Thunder

- $58.96 (avg. $9.83)

Upgraded my old Dark City snapper case finally. Still have a couple DS games I need to pickup for gifts so hopefully a couple Blu-rays I'm looking at drop tomorrow. It's funny, last year I was happy to get Iron Man for $15 but this year I might not have bought it at that price.

The Wal-Mart CORALINE Blu-Ray for $11.50 does not say it contains the 3-D version, nor does it have the 3-D blurb on the cover. Was there a non-3-D Blu for this title?

A comment on the product page indicates it does include the 3D version. All the review I've seen saw that the red/blue colored lens method used isn't that great and messes with the colors. I'm just wanting a nice HD version.

Oh, it contains a 3D version, it's just akin to watching the film with acid splashed in your eyes. The 2D transfer, however, is easily one of the best Blu-ray images of the year, and a complete no-brainer at $12.

Thanks for the update, Dirk and Gryf.

They still have not perfected a good system for 3-D on television although I know they are working on it, no doubt in time for AVATAR's debut on DVD. :boring:

CORALINE was one of the only modern 3-D movies I saw in a theater where I thought it actually served the film well and I know that can't even be approximated on DVD, but I still would like to have it just in case the less discerning kids want to see it that way.

Dammit. Went to order season two of Gossip Girl and it now says "Usually ships in 3 to 5 weeks." Bleh. I guess I'm going to Target tomorrow, unless Wal-Mart carries it, then I'll pricematch. Does anyone know if Wal-Mart has it?
