Re: Warner Archive sales

I wish they would have a good deal on multi-disc archive sets. I really want that Our Gang/Little Rascals collection...

Re: Warner Archive sales

During their last sale, I set up a new account, and they sent me a coupon good for $5 off on my next purchase. In the past, when they've sent out coupons like that, they are generic codes like "SAVEBUCKS" or something like that. This time it was a 16 letter code in the format of ABCD-EFGH-IJKL-MNOP.

I'm guessing that this code is tied to my account specifically so it can't be readily reused. Still, I'll try it on multiple accounts when the sale goes live to see what happens.

Re: Warner Archive sales

If they allow the $25 'remastered' titles as part of this, that will be an amazing deal.
Just finished ordering everything I had any compelling interest in there. But I'm sure I'll be tempted to find at least 5 more things when this starts. Some of the last few Tarzans I wouldn't mind getting (but not all of them).

Also, have to say that the last 15 titles I've gotten in have been all very good quality at least. I expect print damage on older titles, but the transfers themselves, and the compression/encodes, all look to be at a higher standard now than a large % of what I ordered a year ago this time.

Same here on the $25 remastered stuff. Right now Boy's Night Out tops my list of what I haven't got from them.

Bought 10 of the remastered titles and used the SAVINGS code. I'm thinking about placing another order.

Re: Warner Archive sales

Thanks for the heads-up, I picked up 25 titles from my wishlist and might even go back once more before the sale ends. This is as cheap as these are ever going to get...

Re: Warner Archive sales

Nice, been waiting to get some of these, I've seen peopel here shell out $20 for them, but for $10 a title I can live with that.

I know I want Green Slime, Pretty Maids All in a Row, & Cleopatra Jones, need to find two more . . .

Re: Warner Archive sales

Most of their sales during the year are % off sales and not flat price, so I doubt you're going to see these remastered titles at anywhere near $10 apiece anytime soon. I'm picking up all of them I want, then adding enough of the others to get 10 so I can use the savings code. If you buy ten, you're getting $250 worth of product for $80.

Re: Warner Archive sales

I have a ton of titles I'd like to get, but all the sales recently have pretty much emptied my wallet so I just ordered:

Arizona Dream
La Boheme
Brewster McCloud
The Patsy
Wild Oranges

Re: Warner Archive sales

I'm spending TOO MUCH MONEY THIS WEEK.

In for:

THE OUTFIT
COUNTOWN
YOU'RE A BIG BOY NOW
PRETTY MAIDS ALL IN A ROW
GILDA LIVE

Had the $5 "come back soon" coupon from ordering OUR GANG during Veteran's Day, which covered sales tax. Nice deal, wish I hadn't spent a fortune at Amazon, DD, and B&N this week so I could bite on another batch.

Re: Warner Archive sales

Any new coupon codes out there? I'm hoping to pick up a couple newer things and missed out on the Black Friday sales.

Meh. As a member of the Warner loyalty program I already get 25% off Archive purchases, and seeing that of the 3 orders I ended up placing on BF, only 1 has shipped as of yesterday, I'm disinclined to do any shopping there for a while.

Really? I'm a member too and I didn't think the 25% applies to Archive titles. Here's the find print that I found:

25% off of select DVD/Blu-ray titles from WBshop.com. 15% off of all Items in the Official Merchandise section of WBshop.com. 10% off of select Warner Archive titles from WBshop.com.

And I too ordered a bunch of stuff on BF that has not shipped yet

I did the same, but the other day I tried to log in & was unable so didn't use the coupon. Methinks WAC makes it a little too hard to order from them.

Re: Warner Archive sales

Thank you, Rocketdog2000! I just ordered a Warner Archive dvd I've wanted for a long time. I never saw it on sale at the Warner site or anywhere else, but thanks to your coupon code, I finally got a good deal! Thanks again!

Re: Warner Archive sales

I ordered ten Archive titles during the 5 for 50 sale and they arrived today, shipped UPS by Deep Discount in Illinois. I never got any confirmation from Warner that they shipped, but apparently they went out on December 1.
