I find it interesting and odd that many of you are *still* waiting for "in stock" shipments from this sale. I've placed a couple of orders from subsequent sales and each has arrived in under 2 weeks. Even the orders (2) I placed during the sale each arrived in 8-9 days (weekends included), the absolute fastest service/delivery I've *ever* received from DD. It really makes me think the "in stock" designation has no basis in reality depending on the title.
That said... I *have* waited 6 weeks on an OOS CD in the past. It finally arrived just about when I thought I'd get a "sorry... can't get any more" email notice.

I've personally never had an item listed as instock not actually be instock. The 2 dvds I'm waiting on were listed as backordered when I placed the order. Another dvd listed as backordered shipped less than a week after I ordered it. I also received emails this past week saying the items would not arrive before Christmas. One even stating it would be at least 21 days before the item would ship.

Everything I ever had listed as in stock was indeed in stock so that's pretty odd. I had one dvd backordered but they shipped it a few days ago, took about 3 weeks.

Wow, this is crazy that I STILL haven't received this Watchman bluray yet. It's not like it is a rare, oop item. Has anyone who ordered this out of stock item during the November sale received it yet?

I don't understand how the savings can possibly be worth the aggravation. This bullshit needs to stop, but as long as idiots are willing to put up with the wait, DD will do it. You should cancel the order and get the item elsewhere. Maybe even email the better business bureau. Screw DD. The assholes need to quit keeping OOP items listed as backordered too. Amazon has no problem keeping up to date with their stock. They even know if/when they'll be receiving more of something on the rare occasion something does get backordered. Dealing with DD is just stupid.

You should cancel the order and get the item elsewhere. Maybe even email the better business bureau. Screw DD. The assholes need to quit keeping OOP items listed as backordered too. Customer Service = sucks
Delivery Time = sucks
Prices = sucks
Sales = sucks
New Website = sucks
Used to be a time when I would go to DVDPricesearch.com and they would be the first one on the top of the list with the lowest prices. Now they are close to the bottom at times. I think (imo) the only reason they stay afloat is because they have other items besides movies that they sell. If they were strictly DVD/Blu-ray sales they would be a better e-tailer with the better prices of years ago. Amazon is the way to go now.
