Blockbuster is having a sale on their PV DVD's. 3 for $25 ($14.95 or less) or 5 for $25 ($9.95 or less). When you buy this, you also get (2) 20oz soda's free, (2) theater size candies free, and (1) microwave popcorn free. I though it was a pretty good deal.

Wow, they must be desperate... I've never seen that kind of promotion b/4, they've done 3/$20 and 5/$25 before though. I always have a hard time finding 5 movies that qualify though...

Its not really a "sale." its the normal 3 for 20 ($14.95 or less) and 5 for 20 for ($9.95 for less) and they are trying to push the snack promotion which is $5 for the 2 20oz sodas, 2 boxes of candy and 1 microwave popcorn.

Typical. Anyone else has the sale, people would be saying "That's a good deal! I'm gonna go check it out." BBV has the sale, and the reaction is "They must be desperate."

A was in my local blockbuster in Jersey last night and they were overflowing with PVD, not so much of the blu-ray I was looking for, but lots of standard DVD.

The Woodbrige store. They didn't have much blu-ray or PS3 games to shop for, but stacks and stacks of standard DVD for sale. I didn't pay attention to the titles because I really don't shop for standard DVD much anymore.

My store, which is a corporate owned IS 5/20 this includes the $5 bundle.

My local store (the one that's not recently closed down), had a couple tables of 3 for 20, 4 for 20, and 5 for 20 selections. The 5 for 20 included the candy/drink combo bonus.
I didnt' see anything on those tables that I wanted, but I did get My Name is Earl S1 (complete), My Bloody Valentine, and Coraline for 20.00. Had to pay 15 cents extra for 3d glasses, but I think the savings on MNiE made up for that.

The store I went to today had signs for 3/$20 & 4/$20 but on the side of the display they had printouts saying you could get 3 movies + the snack/soda bundle for $25 [$14.99 titles] or 4 movies + snack/soda bundle for $25 [$9.99 titles]. They called it a "Manager's Special" ...hmmm!

Well the other day (corporate owned store) would not let me get the deal on the $14.99and up titles.
She said just the $9.99 and under only "did I get the shaft" on this matter?

Depends on which deal in the OP you were doing.

I misread the signage in my store.
It is 5 for 20 9.99 and under plus you can add the $5 snack bundle into it.
