Found the SD of Watchmen: Ultimate Cut/Complete Story at FYE. It was priced at $44.99 but scanned at 19.99. I used the BSP and 25% off coupon to get it for 13.50 plus tax. It's not the Blu-ray version I wanted but for that price I'm ok with it. I still have the BD of The Director's Cut.

An FYE I was at today currently has a Buy 1 CD, get another for $1 sale going on. $15 limit though, otherwise I'd have picked up a couple.

I would have checked another store or two but it started snowing, and it was slippery stuff so I just went home instead.

And do you think I can use an FYE coupon together with a manufacturer coupon? Seems like I should be able to, but I guess it depends on the cashier.

I've been told on multiple occasions I can only use one coupon-either FYE or manufacturer- per item.

Well, I managed to use both and got Step Up 3D for $18.49, plus tax (still under $20). Reg. price $49.99, on sale for $34.99. Then subtract loyalty discount, Disney coupon and store coupon.

I haven't got one since before I signed up for this forum, but on my most recent store receipt there is a 30% off a used DVD offer good until the end of Jan., 2011. Hopefully it works with Blu-ray, since I don't buy DVDs.

update: Used the offer today to get the Blu-ray Family Guy trilogy used for $15.75. My new receipt has the same offer on it, so I'll be going back later today.

update 2: Picked up a cheap CD mostly just to get another 30% off receipt. Now I've got 2 unused receipts good for about 3 weeks.

Picked up Resident Evil Afterlife 3D used for $15.75 with the receipt coupon today. First cashier blew me off saying I couldn't use it on a Blu-ray, so I simply got into another line.

I received a Backstage Pass email from them yesterday but it did not have a coupon.

Stores around here are treating these DVD coupons as literally DVD, which means not including disks that have price stickers stating "Blu-ray DVD". I pointed out the word DVD on the price sticker and they still won't take coupons for them.

Of course according to Sony a Blu-ray disk is not a DVD, but still these stores will call them Blu-ray disks when it's convenient and call them DVDs the rest of the time.

The coupon above does say "Any DVD" though, so maybe I should give it a try. Valid tomorrow Monday only.

I spoke to someone at the local store about the lack of weekly BSP coupons and she theorized that they may not be sending coupons while the current Buy 1 Used CD Get 1 for $1 sale is going on. I don't know if she's right but I suppose it's not a bad theory as the coupons they usually send work on CDs as well and could make the deal too good.

I've been to the stores a few times during this CD sale but haven't found anything at all that I wanted. Just dead stock.

I haven't had any problems using my receipts with the 30% off code n for blu rays. I had a couple the other day and picked up 'Gladiator' Sapphire collection for 13.XX and also 'Lethal Weapon' for $3.XX.

I haven't either. In fact, I had a rather unexpected pleasant experience yesterday using the 30% coupon. My local store has B3G1 free on all used items so I picked out 4 items I wanted (some Blu, some SD) with one of them being higher than the others. I expected to get the 30% off coupon on the higher priced item and the lowest priced for free. When I was told the total it didn't seem right but I paid and waited to look at my receipt when I got to the car. What I found was the 30% discount was taken on all 4 items and the lowest priced one was still free. That was a nice deal. I think I saved an additional $9 or so.

Very disappointed with this - guess I'll be canceling my card since really the 30% off codes and the $3 off coupons were really only what was worth keeping the card.

I did buy some blank dvd's the other day and hoped that there would be another code on the receipt, but alas there was not
