Will the $3 coupons work on items that are on sale?

I thought I tried once and couldn't because on the coupon it says it can't be combined with other offers. That's why I haven't tried it with some of the blu rays I've been looking at.

Of course, it could be YMMV so I may try again over the weekend.

I just refuse to pay full price (unless it's an absolute must) on movies and these coupons are really helping me out. Buying used blu rays is fine with me, especially since FYE's prices are a little much anyway.

I've never had problems using it on sale items. In fact, I don't recall ever using it on one that wasn't on sale.

I used the $3 on a sale item today. Got Across The Universe (new, not used) on Blu-ray for $5.99 plus tax. Was on sale for $9.99.

The Backstage Pass membership gives you 10% off on all purchases before coupons. So, a $10 item is $6 with pass and coupon: 10-10%=9-3=6.

ok, so it did work for me today with no problems. Picked up 'Requiem For A Dream' that was on sale fr $9.99. After using the BSP and coupon and addig tax I got it for $6.41.

My local FYE had Twin Peaks Season 2 for $14.99. With BSP and coupon, it came out to $10.49 plus tax. Keep the $3 off, no minimum coupons coming.

I was about to ask the same thing. I'm usually one to post them but not only have I not received this week's coupon I never received last week's.

I got one for $5 off $35 in my email yesterday I think.

You're right. I saved about $10 on a $45 purchase after she processed the coupon. For example, a $12.99 Blu-ray (sale price) shows up as $9.36 on my receipt. And a Who Live At Leeds (deluxe edition, new) which was already mis-priced at $14.99 (instead of $29.99 like the other one sitting next to it was priced at) showed up as $10.77.

And besides all that I still got the Buy 2 used items, get 1 free offer on top of it.

The coupon-25% off a regularly priced DVD or CD-arrived early today.

Do folks post here when FYE runs its get-extra-value for trade-in specials...y'know, the extra 20% with the brown bag? Or does that appear in the stores forum?

I post in both forums whenever FYE has the BB promotion. However, I wouldn't expect the BB to surface for some time since the last one ended less than 2 months ago. In the past, they ran the BB promotion in February and that would be my guess for the next one.

"Iron Man 2" on DVD is $14.99 after MIR. Did not see any rebate listed for the Blu-ray. Best Buy will have the "IM2" DVD for $14.99 next week!

Haven't been in my local FYE for a couple of weeks s I'm eager to see what new titles they have.

I also have a 20% coupon that I might use today (birthday) and might see if I can find a new(er) release for a decent price.

I love this one too. I used it last night to get Season 2 of Fringe on Blu-ray for 22.68 + tax.
