Another possibility I mentioned in the now retired 4th Big Lots thread, is that these $3.00 cartoon season sets maybe are not supposed to be out on sale until the July 26th ad. There are a lot of people reporting spottng these sets now though, so I'm not sure what to think.

Interesting, those were in the $3.00 boxes? In the Dayton, Oh area the current first wave of those are priced at $6.00 each. I'm not complaining though! ...and THANKS for posting that detailed list of titles you saw!

Thanks so much,...um...Duck of Death, for your post. As soon as I read it, I got up, jumped in the car, and drove down to Adrian for the second time this week.

Got the Roots box (8 left), big Super Bowl box (1 left), Kubrick box (last one--beat to hell and with a movie lifted, but they gave it to me for $8), Looney Tunes Golden Vol. 6 (last one). And three Animaniacs Vol. 2 for gifts.

And then got some coffee 'n donuts at Tim Horton.

Seems like a few of the 6 dollar sets I see are showing up for 3 dollars else where. I paid 6 for Superman Animated vol 1 but everywhere else it looks like its 3. Don't care a season for 3 or 6 and I'm happy!

Several people have mentioned seeing more than one set of the Looney Toons set. It would be very nice if these were picked up and offered for sale or trade to your fellow forum members. A lot of us want it. :)

Greenville, SC. I picked up The Flintstones Seasons 3 and 5. Tales From the Crypt Vol. 1-5, Animaniacs Vol.1 and 2. Dukes of Hazzard 4, 5, and 6.

My wife doesn't like me anymore. :(

Nothing at my store again today. No $3 sets, no $10 sets. The good news is the old $6 sets are down to almost nothing but The OC and Joey, so if they're sitting on more DVDs in the back they've got room to put them out now.

For people that haven't found these yet, keep checking and check early in the day if you can.

Tip: Check the electronics section. I was about to leave without finding the $10 sets, but decided to look more thoroughly, and found them near the antennas, wires, etc. (they were still close to the dvd racks though).

Damn I wish I had 5 to 10 stores close to me to check lol but only 2 stores near me are worth the drive. I'm going to them Sunday so hopefully they finally got some of these great finds. I already own all the Tales from the Crypts & Lois and Clark stuff.

Some Stores are NOT putting this stuff out because apparently there will be an ad displaying them next week (26th ad).

I havent seen it but my friend who was hunting was told that his store will not be putting them out till the 26th, and they showed him the ad.

I didn't say they were close to me...haha. We were near Philadelphia and I live about an hour and a half north of there, so on our way home we just used the gps and hunted down a bunch of Big Lots. It was quite fun.

I found Friends Season 1 but that was on the 9th. I'm still looking for 2 and 10 to complete my set too.

Which Toledo store? I checked Alexis and Miracle Mile yesterday morning & saw nothing new, other than the $4.00 Nickelodeon titles.
