Hey guys,

Didn't see a thread for this so figured I'd start one up. Earlier this week Warner emailed me a survey to complete to comment on the overall quality of the site. The reward was a 25% off coupon, which wasn't much because most of the site's still 20% off (which resulted in only an additional 5% off, as the 20% sale removed when the coupon was applied).

Well apparently their survey software borked so they sent out another survey, this time with a 30% coupon reward. That code is WBSURVEY7. According to the survey email it's a one time use (or, more than likely, one time per account) coupon.

Figured I'd pass the coupon along. For the most part the coupon won't take a whole lot off considering the current % off doesn't stack with the coupon, but in the case of some things like their Double Feature releases, it'll drop the price way below Amazon's prices. Plus if you spend $30+ you get free ground shipping.

Edit: Probably should've noted this expires on 6/30.

Does it take 30% off of the already discounted titles? If so, that could make for some great deals...

EDIT: I tried this, and no it does not. The original discount is replaced with the new discount...

Their prices on the new Torchwood BD sets seem to be lower than MSRP, so with the 30% off they were a bargain (considerably cheaper than Amazon).

Thanks, didnt know amazon listed that already since I saw that they also have a placeholder for torchwood series 3 with no price or anything.

I pulled the trigger. There is tax for me so total was $65 and change. Not too bad since the discount was nice already.

They take 30% off the list price not the discounted price. However, they have some great deals. They list Terminator S2 BD @ 60.00 where it's actually $80. Same for Smallville S8 BD.

I just used the coupon to pre-order Gone With The Wind on Blu for my mom. $45.43 after 30%. I also ordered John Adams to get free shipping. John Adams is only a few bucks cheaper than Amazon and Costco, though.

Well, shoot. I tried to cancel the order, but they said part of it was already in process. But she did say I could just refuse the package when it arrives and they'll credit me when it gets back to them.

I placed a new order using the B2G1 and 25% off coupons and it came to $116.54 (darn CA tax). $38 each for Gone With the Wind and 2 John Adams sets (all blu). Since I just sold my mom's 4-disc GWTW DVD set for $48, that's not too bad. Thanks for cluing me in.

I went to try a second order, and now none of the coupons (including WBSURVEY7) are working. They must have taken them offline (maybe temporarily while they fix something?).

I tried to use it again under the same account I placed a B2G1 order the other day and it wouldn't work for me while logged in, and told me the code could not be applied.

It must be a one time use code per account.

EDIT:

Yeah, I just logged out and added three things to my cart and applied the code and it's still working.

I already used the b2g1f code with the watchmen deal... not sure how they act with multiple accounts... and all the stuff i want is pre-orders... so I settled for 2 at the 30% off... got the LOTR and the TMNT Collection free shipping, both solid prices for discs I will want to own right away... hopefully they ship the TMNT when it comes out and not in november with rings..

Except for including it as part of the B2G1, the coupons don't work on the blu-ray of the Wizard of Oz. They do work on Gone With The Wind, which like the Wizard of Oz is only available as an overpriced gift set on blu-ray, at least so far.

I was planning on passing on those overpriced sets, and had little interest for the theatrical versions of LOTR- but this basically comes out to $20 each for the single disc titles, and $36 each for the box sets. In the case of the former it's a good deal and in the case of the latter it's an outstanding one (well...considering the msrp anyways. Still ain't crazy about all the junk that goes with em).

I was able to follow the instructions to get LotR, GWTW and Oz working with the codes. However, I cannot get the codes to work with the DVD's I actually want to order.

I'm guessing these codes only works with certain items and are not in fact universal.

The B2G1 code will also not work on items that are not already in the 20% off discount, such as Falling Down.

I believe the B2G1 code is a one-time use. If you've already used it, you'll need to open up a new account using a different e-mail.

It looks like that you're right. It'll work on the 20% off titles. However, you can no longer apply it to the GWTW, Wizard of Oz and LOTR Trilogy trifecta.

That's not it (said the actress to the bishop). I haven't ordered anything from WBShop this year and actually wasn't logged in when I tried the various combo in my shopping cart. Without being logged in I was able to get the blu-ray combo from the example to work, but not any combo of any DVD's I actually wanted to order.

On a whim, I created a new account and was still unable to get the codes to work. The three titles I have chosen are all part of the 20% off sale and I cannot get B2G1 to work with any of them.
