Thanks OP!
I have my eye on Boondock Saints, I Robot and the new T2 disc. Probably will head out to BB after my shift tomorrow.

The transfer looks sharper than the DVD release, but it's not a great transfer by any means of the imagination.
It doesn't help the film was shot in Super 16 and one can tell this by how much grain is evident. If a company like Anchor Bay or Blue Underground scored the rights and released this, we could've gotten a nice restoration that could've been wonderful. It also would've probably included some extras.
Instead, we get a bargain Blu-ray title that I feel a little bit ripped off despite only paying $12 for it. If you have the original DVD release, I wouldn't upgrade unless you can score the Blu-ray for under $10.

Everybody complaining that their local store doesn't have something in stock, remember there is free shipping for this sale. Just get it shipped to your house instead of trying to track down a copy.
Also, people asking if this is in-store as well, just order online and choose local pick-up. You can even split up your order and pick up movies that are in stock locally and ship the ones that aren't in stock for free. No need for multiple orders, not that it would be a big deal.

It doesn't. I gambled. I knew the SKU number was the same, so you don't know which one you're gonna get. I picked up my 3 copies today, and two had the GC but one did not. So I'll return that one... I'm happy with two...

Got lucky and snagged the last copy of Boondock Saints at my local store. Plenty of copies of I, Robot at that store, so I picked that up as well.
They were all out of the T2: Skynet Edition though. I didn't want to burn gas and a 15-20 minute drive to another local BB to see if they had it.

I was hoping that Amazon pricematched the blu-rays by today. I want to get Hulk vs, which is priced at $14.99, but it is out of stock in the local Best Buy.

Re: Best Buy Blu Sale
Someone, earlier, mentioned that it had 7/4/2009 on some of the movies in-store. I'm hoping that's the case. I really want that T2, but I'm kind of hesitant on spending any money, right now, due to some financial issues. $15 may not make or break me, but I also have to convince my wife that it's a good movie to buy
. She actually seemed to enjoy the new Terminator movie, but doesn't have any interest in watching the others.
However, she bought me the Stargate Blu-ray for Valentine's Day for $15. Being the cheap person that I am, I took it back and they refunded her card the $15, and I told her to go buy it at Wal-Mart for $10, trying to save her some money. She still hasn't done it, so maybe I can convince her to spend the $15 on this
. Though I don't want her to feel bad about buying the "wrong" movie, since I'd like to have Stargate, too. I had originally joked that she could take the $15 and buy Stargate and put the other $5 towards the original T2 release, and I would put up the rest. She then questioned how that was saving her any money
At the time, the rumor of a new T2 release was just starting, and official details weren't out about it (plus all I saw was talk about the endoskeleton packaging), so having that original release didn't bother me. But knowing there was a future release kept me from pushing it. I think I'll just take Stargate (if she'll ever get around to buying it, again) and hope that she'll let me buy T2 by the time the sale ends (and hope that they'll have some in stock, as it's on backorder online and the store that's on the other side of town is the only one that has it in stock, right now).

I just looked at the tags in-store and it says the sale goes to 6/4, not 7/4. Definitely a weird date as it is a Thursday

What makes it a real winner is that the trailers prior to the main menu are all in 480p.
