Did you happen to notice if Felicity was the Buena Vista versions or the Lionsgate re-releases? I think the Lionsgate versions have no extras.

It's definitely worth it for $5. A cute series if one likes superhero entertainment.

The best DVD deals at Walmart in recent times have been the wave of multipack DVD collections with UV streaming copies for each movie. The Steve McQueen Collection has four of his movies on DVD and also includes SD copies of all them through UV providers. These seem to be Walmart exclusives, at least the copies with digital codes.

How much are they?

No Ordinary Family S1
Samantha Who? S1
Dirty Sexy Money S2
Grounded for Life S1, S2 $2.96 each

I also saw
Dirty Sexy Money S1
According to Jim S3
The Dead Zone S3
Reaper S2

It's the 4-Film DVD collections. Most go for $9.96 in Walmart stores, though a few of the four-packs go for $12.96. The UV codes seem unique to copies found at Walmart. Mostly from Warner Bros and some Paramount titles they distribute. Sony also has a number of multiple DVD collections with UV codes, including one 6-pack of older comedy releases that gives you 6 streaming movies in SD. That one was $9.96. Some of the UV codes will only give you one movie's UV rights, while some of the multipacks give you each movie's UV rights from the set.

Found Season 3 of the Kevin Sorbo/Hercules series in the $5 bin (17/92 Sanford, FL). There was a $3 display of DVDs that had some decent (and recent) stuff. Picked up The Raven (Cusack), Parental Consent, and Safe Haven. Some of the X-Men films were in the display (including 1st Class) and Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

I hope that appears at my store. Three bucks for "The Raven" would be nice.

You should be aware that Andy Griffith will likely be hitting Blu-ray in the next year. The DVD prices will drop like a rock once that happens.

Andy Griffith S5 and M.A.S.H. S3 are both available at Amazon... just not for ~$10 (more like ~$13-$18 depending on if you use Amazon or a MP vendor with TAGS being the cheaper purchase).

Hastings has M.A.S.H. S3 new for $9.99 + $.99 shipping and tax. with TAGS S5 coming in at almost $16 + shipping and tax.

I've only run into "Dirty Sexy Money" S1, not 2. Maybe in the future.

I stumbled across these last night, missed your post or would have looked sooner.

Picked up Starsky and Hutch season 1 and Charlie's Angels season 1 for $5 each. Would have picked up the Tick series too but I've already got it.

Fright Night 2 wasn't bad if you like vampire flicks.

It features the actress from Defiance:

I looked through the $5.00 bargain bin in my Bectelsville,Pa. Wal Mart and didn't find any of the TV series described. However I came across two and three (4 to 20 )movie collections shrink rapped together for $5.00.

I purchased the following for $5.00 which was bound together as one shrink wrapped package:

Music of the Heart-Meryl Streep,Gloria Estefan
The L.A.Complex-The Complete Series-3 disc set
Action Pack-4 Movies-Denzel Washington,Mark Walberg-License to Kill/The Yards/The White Raven/Street Corner Justice

All of the above for just $5.00. It is worth sifting through the bin.

Thanks for the post. I picked up a couple of double-shrinked wrapped packages as well. But it's a huge YMMV, as no store I've been to has the same inventory on these. Alot mult-movie Mill Creek sets are bound together in groups of 3 for 5 bucks. The 2 I got were 2 MGM Triple features and Bill and Ted cartoon bound with another cartoons series. Big YMMV on all of these.
