The sales lately have been just terrible. Ever since Circuit City closed those weekly deals like $3.99, $4.99 and $5.99 titles are gone. This is sad.

FYI, Walmart stores have been selling the Princess Bride BD for 19.96 since its day of release....

I agree, I was thinking the exact same thing.

Very disappointed that the two new Bond Blu-rays are not in the ad (or Target's ad, for that matter). I was also hoping BB would have the new Better than Ezra cd advertised. Oh well.

Holy shit... $130 for an HDMI cable?!?!? Words can not explain my anger towards Monster Cable. Glad to see they cut their prices for the recession.

Anyone agree that $89.99 for the Star Trek movies (all six) isn't a bad deal? That comes out to about $15 per movie. With Blu-ray, I'll take that all day.

well it is the 8' ultra 800. a quick perusal reveals an 8' in-wall installation compliant gold plated connector HDMI cable at monoprice for 8 bucks. granted, you don't get reward zone points for buying the monoprice offering.

Hah! True, but from what I've seen, its pretty awesome that not only 1 person would type that out, but 2 is amazing. In this day showing some consideration for someone else is hardly seen. So bravo to both of you for helping him out.

Check the thread(s?) here devoted to the set. There have been some valid concerns about it, and better prices.

I guess the figure no need to now that they got rid of circuit city. get rid of your competition-charge whatever you want to. case in point, anyone that has rented a movie at blockbuster lately? they are now charging about $5.50 for a movie rental, now that they got rid of hollywood video.

What I think is very wrong is the Lycan figure is only available for the BD version only. WTF?!?

What's the deal with the price differences??? Flyer prices not matching the website?

Odd, I have a Hollywood video in my town, but no Blockbuster.

Good deal on Wheelman for 360/PS3. Game didn't come out too long ago and it's already $30.

Since the death of CC it certainly seems to be the case. Even Target sales are worse than ever, if that's possible. Plus it seams the "big players" are really trying to push Blu-Ray on everyone. You know... advertise only BR and maybe everyone will think "std" DVD is dead and stop purchasing "std" DVD stuff and buy all this overpriced BR equipment/media we're stockpiling.

Everwood S1 set was $12.99 in store today. Bunch of other TV shows on sale, all $19.99 and $24.99 that aren't in the add, but all stuff that has been cheaper before (Desperate Housewives, Dirty Sexy Money and others).

I find this insulting. We have to pay extra for the BB exclusive figure??? I don't think so! I'll get it elsewhere just because that pisses me off... They gave the cool Gort figure free just a few weeks ago, so why make us pay for this one?

No, it is not a good deal when you can get it shipped free to your door from Amazon for $10 less (and no tax for most people too, so even more savings)....

Any of you bought Superman Returns yet? The BB.com shows the 2008 version to be regular price...which means that it sucks...will Target price match the ad?
