If anyone is interested, I found a site that sells DVDs for wholesale, although you can buy 1 of any title. They had some good deals there. I picked up around 20 titles new for under $60. They didn't charge me tax, so that was worth the shipping price (around $9 UPS...based on weight).

is this place legit?

This is the first time I am ordering from them, but nothing looks non-legit from the order I placed. The product they carry did not make me suspicious either.

If you deal with these kinds of places on ebay.com and half.com, you find that they often deliver on their promise. But here you dont have as much safety as on those sites. I would use a virtual credit card number at minimum and a trusted credit card to handle any non delivery of goods.
