Alright - my bad. Btw. there's a separate $5 off coupon for Bride Wars blu-ray in the entertainment reviews/new release leaflet. So you might be able to use 2 $5 coupons on the blu-ray if anybody wants to buy the movie (terrible movie IMHO)

No prob... what store do you frequent? The Charlotte, NC club is littered with the Summer Journal. People leave them in their carts, lying out in the parking lot, at the end of the registers... they're everywhere! No shortage of Journals or coupons.

Careful of the date on that Bride Wars coupon! I believe it expired on the 14th. Their May Home Entertainment Review magazine should be coming out shortly (if not already). The coupon for May is $5 off Paul Blart: Mall Cop. Starts on 05/19 when the movie is released. I believe the $5 coupon in the Journal applies to this, as well, so potentially $10 off. Both coupons good for DVD or Blu-Ray.

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

Well.............just to inform people. I went to the self-checkout to buy Bride Wars on 5/13 (YES the coupon did expire on 5/14) for my girlfriend and it only allowed 1 $5 coupon, so I called someone over and they said you can't use 2 BJs coupons on the same movie, I said well one was a Manufacturer's coupon and she overrode it. OOPS on the little white lie, but ended up paying $9.99.............................AND THE BEST PART OF IT IT WAS FOR THE BLU-RAY. It was mismarked and they honored the price.

+2 ... Illegal double coupons and price override for the mismark.

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

i found something pretty cool at bj's today. it was the jurassic park/ the lost world deluxe edition for $17.99. it includes both of the movies (sealed) along with both of the john williams movie soundtrack cds (sealed), senitypes from each movie, a photo portfolio and collectible packaging. i already had both of the dvds but the soundtracks etc made it easy to pick this up. i'll just sell/trade the two movies and make back a few shekels to boot. it's a smidge cheaper at ddd ($17.38) but still a decent deal.

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

Went to BJs today and picked up 2 copies of Paul Blart DVD (blind buy).

It was $18.99....with instant rebate for $2 and used 2 $5 coupons from the BJs Journal they had on display plus I used the $10 off 2 DVDs coupon from the BJs member book.

Grand total of $13.98 plus tax.........................................AND if that is not good I asked if I could bring in 2 $3 coupons that was linked from this site and they said sure and they would give meback the cash.

NEW GRAND TOTAL for 2 copies on DVD $7.98 plus tax.

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

Went into BJ's last night and saw that they had "Hotel For Dogs" priced at $18.99 with a $5
instant rebate (thru May 24) so its $13.99 - then you can subject the $5 BJ's coupon thats
in the Journal so its $8.99 before tax - $3 cheaper than it was when I got it earlier this month.

Not sure if they have a price adjustment policy where if price changes in-store within a certain
amount of time (two weeks? a month? - it will be over three weeks since I last bought it), you
can bring your receipt in and get the difference back. Theres nothing on their website about that.
If so I would have to then decide if its worth it to rush over and save $3 - also I would have to do
it sometime today since the $5 instant rebate ends today.

Also I was dissapointed that there was no instant rebate this time around for Friday Nights Season 3
which released earlier this week. The last two seasons, there was a $3 instant rebate which made
the seasons $16.99 each before tax. It was just priced at $19.99. Still a good deal especially if
you go this week or next week etc to pick it up as other stores will price it higher since its not a
first week release anymore. Heck, I should probably wait a few weeks and see if BJ's will have a
instant rebate on it - see "Hotel For Dogs" above.

LB...

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

Has anyone checked on BD sales? Just checking to see if Revolutionary Road had an instant rebate. Lately, they haven't had much on sale.

They should do that for you, for future reference. You can just bring your receipt in and ask for the difference, or just do an even exchange. One way or the other...

I don't see a whole lot of instant rebates on TV shows. They'll do older stuff, but not too often on the newer stuff, because they only hold it for a little while before transferring it out and getting it back in, repackaged and at a much lower price.

They really have not had any good BD instant rebates lately. I'd been waiting on Valkyrie so I could use my coupon, but nada so far. Still just a few really old ones (like Benjamin Button) that expire on 06/04. I'll be in there tomorrow and will check for any new June stuff, though.

Re: BJ's Wholesale Club DVD Deals

Anyone into the "Combat" series should take a look in their local B.J.'s. Each of the 5 seasons is divided into (2) 4 disc sets and they're going for $12.99 each. They're going for around $20.00 each on Amazon.......

Thanks, I stopped at one on my way home and was shocked to see that both were marked $27.99 with no instant rebate signs anywhere. Did you go to BJ's or did you get something in the mail?
