These weekly threads are for price comparisons of all the big new releases, and the posting and discussion of that particular week's store exclusives and freebies.

These lists will likely be incomplete until Wednesday or so, since DVDs are released on Tuesday and one of us needs to visit all the stores to confirm things.

Links to the master list and to the previous and next week's thread are below.

Volunteers needed: I regularly go to Best Buy and Target; but don't visit the other stores every week. If you work at or regularly go to the Wal-Mart, FYE/TWEC chains, Costco, Borders, K-mart/Sears, Barnes and Noble, Blockbuster, Toys-R-Us, or any other store that has DVD exclusives; we'd appreciate any updates you could give us. I am slowly "retiring" from my weekly chain crawls, and will need your help to keep these threads useful.

I usually like to "table" at least 4 new releases a week, but it looks like there is virtually nothing "big" being released this week. Have I missed anything? Anything that anyone wants to see a comparison?

Agreed, a mercifully light week for a change, Trevor. I checked my 10 usual haunts today and though I found nothing exclusive for The Spirit, I did find something odd at K-Mart. They're offering an exclusive Mamma Mia mini "picture frame" with purchase of that film, along with a few other films (whose names I forgot). Essentially, it's a 3"x3" flexible magnet with Mamma Mia graphics on it, with a hole cut out for you to place a small photo behind it (before sticking it on the fridge or something). The frame comes shrinkwrapped to the package and all the discs in the promotion are grouped together in a stand-up display.

Bask in the relative calm of the moment, my friends...
