Yup. If I'm not mistaken most stores should be starting their inventory around this time.

I know the Borders store I work at (which is not part of the sale) is starting their inventory around the end of the week.

So does anyone know how long this sale will last? I have some Borders Rewards bucks which aren't usable until May 1st (Friday).

I was in the Cool Springs (Nashville) Borders at lunch today and they had new signs up indicating that this is the last week of the sale.

Anyone know whether this Saturday is included in the "last days"? If it ends Friday I will be sad, can't get to the nearest one til this weekend.

I didn't see any signs up for the Fresno store when the sale was going to end. I asked while they were moving around what was left *and there still is a lot left* when they sale was going to end and they weren't sure. What was cool was that I asked if they would take a competitor coupon and the manager said yes. So I ended up getting the Freaks and Geeks yearbook edition and The John Cassavetes: Five Films Criterion box for 50% off along with 10% off from the Best Buy coupon.

Walked by the one near my office this morning and they now have signs up saying the DVD and CD clearance ends Sunday.

At least I can stop in later and spend my Borders Bucks.

Yep, got the email this morning that sale ends Sunday. Time to use up those May Borders Bucks!

Don't go to the Oakland Mall store. They got rid of all their movies and music last weekend.

At one red-stickered store, they actually put all the red-stickered DVDs and CDs together. Box sets though red-stickered were mixed in behind the locked cabinets with the unmarked box sets. So they are making it easier to find them !

Got the Complete Brady Bunch (5 seasons) for $70 after tax. Not a bad deal. Dude who helped me said they are shipping all clearance stock back to corporate after Sunday. Who knows where it goes after that.

The Borders in Burlington, VT still has many clearance criterion and art film box sets in glass cases in case anyone is interested.

Union City is completely cleaned out. Everything was sent back they said. They only had the new releases from the past week or two. They should have just kept all the BD's and i would have eventually bought them at 1/2 off or more.

That is exactly what one guy did as his wife watched. He had the salesperson open the case, looked through the Blu-Rays only for a few minutes and came away with an armload, probably 10-15 of them, minimum.
