I actually just entered that code (thanks to TallGuy, just replacing SS w/ WH) on a whim and it worked. Still only for used, but this time it works for a single dvd instead of the "buy 2 get 20%..". If you add a new item or pre-order it does not take off 20%, but it will give you free shipping (although the site has a free shipping code on it's front page, so don't waste the code just for the free shipping).

I was actually just going to post the code here. I bought from both sites, but only responded in this thread not really seeing the need for 2 separate threads.

So thanks TallGuy and Smash...time for us to do some more needless shopping!

BTW Smash...Mizzou is going to smash KU if they both make it to the final 4

So, I've started getting some of my orders, and my CC has still not been charged... in fact, one item was supposedly shipped, never charged, then I got an email saying that they are refunding me for that particular disc.... anyone else?

I got my first big order today, minus the canceled items of course. Voodoo Island/The Four Skulls of Jonathan Drake and We Own the Night BD were both brand new with security stickers. Everything else was great. As usual a few cases were a bit messed up, but it's not big deal. I also had a floater but it was only a digital copy disc, which they could have thrown away before sending for all I care. Oddly, I still haven't been charged for this order, even though every order placed after it has been charged already.

Overall I'm very happy again.


We'll see. They both have a couple tough games to get through before KU can beat Mizzou in the Final Four.

So far they're free. Everything you quoted except Unearthed and Justice League, those were canceled. We'll see if they figure it out and charge me sometime.

Has anyone previously not charged been charged today? I placed 3 separate orders (1 SS, 2 WH) and only the SS order has been charged. I even got a credit for one item that was incomplete, but even that order is not yet charged. Is this how they're making up for the problems? FREE ORDERS FOR EVERYONE...I doubt it, but one can dream.

I thought that was the case for me also but they finally charged me yesterday for the DVDs they sent awhile ago. I knew it was too good to be true.... lol

Bleh, got two disc twos for my Raging Bull 2-discer. My Infernal Affairs disc looks messed to hell. Rental stickers all over the actual artwork. And I didn't get the Blue Underground version of Gold Told Me To like I thought I was going to.

Same here. As was the case with "Voodoo Island/The Four Skulls of Jonathon Drake" and "The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada". A couple of the cheapo sets had some floaters, but I honestly didn't care and used one of the cases for a Criterion replacement.

The only thing that really annoys me is that they apparently removed the shrink wrap from the unopened ones and put a 'used' sticker on the actual case and then rewrapped the damn thing. Why not just place it on the shrink wrap itself and save me the hassle of removing all the left-over residue?

That's my biggest complaint about SecondSpin in general. The stickers should go on the outside of the shrinkwrap, not on the actual case. Thankfully their stickers tend to peel off fairly well.

By the way, they did finally get around to charging me for that order. I can't believe I had the order in my hands before they ever bothered to charge me for it.

Yes take the stickers off,ASAP.They come off real easy at first,and get stickier if you wait to long.Tha's what happened to me before.

There will be a new deal tonight or tommorrow. No idea what yet, but the current deal ends today (for both SS & WH). Hopefully they're good ones and not just "free shipping" or "10% off" no free shipping. Check the sites after midnight (west coast) for the new deal.
