I received the same email showed $36.99. I called customer service rep and my credit card was charge $26.98. You should give them a call make sure the charged is correct

Maybe this is going to be Amazon's tactic this time around with the latest web site glitch. Instead of canceling orders, just quietly change the price when it ships, and hope you don't notice.

They pushed back the delivery estimate on mine to a week later (was: 03/23-03/30, now: 3/30-4/3). Price remains unchanged @ $26.98, but I'll keep my eye on any *ahem* adjustment on their part.

my order summary says $26.98. They charged me $14.07 for Pinnochio. Sleeping Beauty shipped yesterday and it almost in town but still hasn't been charged to my card. I thought it was charged before it was shipped. I'll just have to keep an eye on it.

I was eventually charged $36.98 yesterday. I sent them an email immediately explaining that I was charged $10 more than what my order was supposed to be. A couple hours later I got a response that apologized multiple times and said I'd receive a $10 refund. I've since received an automated email from Amazon stating that my refund has been processed. So I should be set, just have to wait until the 19th for my movies now.

My confirmation email showed $26.98. The order page on their site showed $36.98 with $26.98 being listed under the payment section. I was charged $36.98 so I called and they issued a $10.00 refund to my card and they also gave me a $10.00 credit to my account which will be automatically applied to my next order.

i did the same ... the first guy was trying to just blow me off telling me there was nothing he could do since i canceled the order ... i tryed my luck and emailed them again and a different person said they were sorry for the mistake and if i placed the order again they would fix it ... which they did

Same here! I wonder why they changed it like this? Oh well, at least the total is still correct. I'm keeping print-outs of my order page, confirmation e-mail, etc., in the event I need to dispute a future price adjustment.

same here. I printed a copy of the original invoice and it has $20.00 as one line item. may need that for future adjustments.

I'm sure not. I was a part of that mess. For a long time I wouldn't even shop at Amazon because that was such a headache. I eventually got over that, but I'm still careful with them, I always keep a close eye on things. I figure if they try that little trick from '06 again I can always just dispute the charges again. I ended up with everything I ordered from that fiasco completely free.

I noticed on my banking website a pending charge from amazon in the amount of $36.98, so I checked amazon's site, and sure enough the delivery confirmation shows a charge of $36.98. I called customer service and the representative stated there is nothing she can do until it actually ships and the charge goes through. Afterwhich she will go back in and credit my card the $10.00. Has this been the case with anyone else?
