This deal is online as well, though it's not every Blu-ray and DVD (though it seems to be most).

So are there any good deals to be had? I didn't look too hard, but their prices seem even worse than usual, especially on Blu-Ray. I would have liked to use that $25 gift card too.

B&N's Blu-ray prices for the B2G1 sale are outright retarded.

For those of your who are fans of David Attenborough's BBC works, I stacked this B2GI with my B&N membership and another one of the coupon codes in the B&N posts. After doing that, I got The Life of Mammals, Life of Birds, and Life in Cold Blood for under 75 dollars shipped. That's a pretty amazing deal, since if you buy them from Amazon, the total cost would almost top 140. I think the Life of Mammals is 90 MSRP. These are amazing series, and you are going to get 10 discs of near Planet Earth/Blue Planet quality content. The picture isn't as good, since it's obviously not in HD, but if you were a fan of Planet Earth, you would love those series. Without a doubt the best value you will find on these sets.

It is difficult but possible to put together a decent (probably not great) deal with coupons and membership.

I got Battlestar Galactica S4.0, Captains and the Kings (great early miniseries) and W. BD for $66.58 + tax, using a 15% off coupon and getting the 10% off membership discount.

I also got Zodiac BD, Vicky Cristina Barcelona BD and King Kong BD for $52.06 + tax, also with a coupon and membership.

I wish they would repeat the BOGO TV box set deal (and expand it to all DVDs and BDs) they had two years ago but they probably lost too much on it.

Amen to that! That's where more than half of my TV collection came from! Thanks to that sale I got Star Trek complete TOS, TNG, and DS9 for $23 each season, among other great deals...
