60% DVDs today. Not much left but I managed to grab the 2-disc Best of She-Ra / Secret of the Sword for $7.20 and Dark Floors (The Lordi movie) for $6.

Not a single Blu-ray left in sight.

Stopped by the CC near me and DVDs were stilll 40% off but there was still quite a bit of inventory.

Also a lot of the video games were still in stock. Picked up Mario Sluggers and Ravings Rabids TV

Re: Circuit City Liquidation Deals (post your finds here)

My local CC has plenty of DVDs for 40% off...the selection for BDs was limited however to approximately 10 different movies...they had plenty of the prepacked 3 BDs (50 first dates and 2 others).

I ended up buying only 2 CDs.

Lucky you. My store is still at 40%. I'd jump on a few titles at 60%. Maybe even 50%...

Hit a few about an hour south of me a few days ago. DVD's and PC games were 50% off. Grabbed the 3-disc Hancock for $15 and Drawn Together season 3 for $10. Also snagged a couple PC games - King's Bounty for $20 (I have fond memories of the original Sega game, so I figured I'll give it a try) and the new Alone in the Dark for $5. There was a $49.99 tag on it, and a small $9.99 tag was placed over that. I figured if it actually rang up at $5 I'd give it a try.

I picked up a Rock Band 2 band kit for PS3 (only 30% off) they only had two left so figured better pick one up. I rarely see these on sale (other than the TRU deal around christmas). Will probably pick up a GH:WT guitar kit when they go 40-50 off since thay seemed to have a ton of those. Also got a Dual Shock 3 at 40% off.

We're at 40% off on video games and DVDs and pickings are getting slim... managed to find...

The Shield - Season 6 for $27.99
Stargate Atlantis - Season 4 for $23.99
Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for $18.99
Laptop lock - $17.99

They had a good deal of BDs left but not any titles I'd be interested in.

Probably not a great deal, but I picked up some WWE DVD's.... The Rock and Stone Cold sets, since they end up being $13.19 each.

Picked up a copy of Dirty Dozen BDfor $14.99, priced at $16.99 on Amazon. Since I have to pay tax on Amazon purchases I saved a couple bucks.

They actually had a Matrix HD DVD box set for only $79.99 before discount.

Had a bit of good fortune today. Picked up the 2-disc versions of "The Passion of the Christ" & "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story" (Some combo!!), & was charged only for the "Dewey Cox". Wound up paying $14.29 for the 2.

This was at the 5th Ave. store in Manhattan.

If the cashier fucks up, I sure wouldn't be the one to complain either. No different from people taking advantage of price mistakes.

I don't really see a difference. In both cases you're taking advantage of a store's mistake. If a customer specifically did something to sneak out with a movie that wasn't paid for, it's one thing. Criticizing someone's morals because of a store's mistake is stupid and unnecessary.

Well, invisiblegt there is saying that taking advantage of someone else's mistake is inherently wrong, regardless of method. Different approach to things. As far as invisiblegt is concerned, it's an accurate moral assessment. Obviously you disagree. I don't see anyone budging.

I'm heading over to my local store Wednesday or Thursday, hope to find a couple things worthwhile.
