Amazon: Save Up To 58% Off Saw DVDs and BD

Just got this in an email. I have to pick up IV, since someone decided to steal mine, but leave the case.

Is that definitely coming out?

Either way, I'm picking up Saw 3 BD... its the only one I dont have yet for some reason. Well, that and 5 of course.

This is the same for me too. I bought Saw IV last year when it came out on Blu-ray and I just jumped on the Saw and Saw II Blu-rays at Wal-Mart for $10 each a few weeks ago anticipating Saw V.

An unrated cut and a director's cut of Saw 3?! Are they planning on making as many cuts of each movie as there are sequels? Which is the best cut to get for Saw 3?

I was wondering that myself. I have the unrated cut, and I've been wanting to pickup the director's cut but the damn thing wasn't going on sale with the unrated like it should have. Guess now I have to order it.

Are the Saw Blu-ray's decent upgrades over the DVD versions? I have the first 4 on DVD, so I'm kind of wondering if it's worth it to rebuy.

I used to let people borrow my DVDs and half of them never return what they borrowed. Now when people ask if they can borrow my DVDs or BDs I tell them to go to Blockbuster and get a membership. Some of them get upset but I really don't care b/c they are not the one who pays for the DVDs.

After reading a feature comparing the two unrated cuts of Saw 3 (I will throw out the R rated cut in this discussion), it seems to me that the first unrated cut is superior to the second unrated "director's cut" since a couple of the added finale scenes in the DC version cause a continuity error with Saw 4....
Then again, if you do not care about future sequels (which I do since the series is all interconnected), then it won't matter to you...
