Adventures of Brisco County Jr. for under $25 shipped from DDD.
Stargate SG-1 Megaset for $99 shipped from Amazon Deal of the Day.
Big Lots (while the prices were great, most of the joy was going from store to store hunting down the titles)

I wasn't able to get Tropic Thunder 2-disc at Circuit City for $6.99, but I was able to get Walmart to price match that online sale, in-store. I was also particularly happy to snag The Christopher Reeve Superman Collection at Best Buy for $16.99 before Thanksgiving, and Psych: The Complete Second Season for $13.99 from Amazon on Turkey Day. Most recently, because of this forum, I knew to show up at Walmart the day after Christmas to find the last remaining copy of The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance for $5. My sincere thanks to all who have contributed to these (and other) cost-saving purchases, and I hope that at some point in 2009 I can help return the favor.

If DVD Planet had mirrored it, with their lower prices, coupons, and FBP, it would have been truly awesome. Perhaps they will next year if DD runs it again.

$179 on black friday from Sears. - $20 for not having it in stock even though I was the first person in line who wanted one - $15 for giving me two false notifications that they had them in the store even though they still didn't.

Total price paid: $144 + tax

i didn't get in on the 24 deal, so i'll have to go with $100 of 10 Blu-Ray discs, $22.14 for Brisco County Jr.

I think this was last year, but the Blade Complete Series incorrect price sticker @ Best Buy and XBOX360 HD-DVD add-on with 2 free HD-DVDs glitch (entire seasons for FREE!!) also @ Best Buy still come to mind.

My best deals were some of the CH codes for BOGO and such. Wish I would've had the cash for the $100.00 BD deal though.

Gee, I feel a little ripped off for getting Brisco County, Jr. for $24.99. Oh what the heck, that's still a great deal.
Also, Avengers Complete Emma Peel Collection for $30.38 and the Complete Jeeves & Wooster for $24.30.

But, outside of DVDs, I found an Absolute Watchmen for $65 at my local comics shop when it was out of print. The same day, I found another one at my local Borders, but sans shrink wrap. With a 30% off coupon, that one came to $52.50. Then I ebayed the first copy for $110 (although that was a little disappointing, I thought it would go higher), so it works out that I got an Absolute Watchmen for $7.50. And since it was already unwrapped, I didn't have the dilemma of opening it myself.

The Blockbuster $10 off of $10+ was one of the best for me. I now have quite a few accounts with Blockbuster. Even better was the B1G4 free deal at Columbia House. My collection almost doubled this year!!

You know, it's hard to remember. Was it this year that the first ten star trek movies set from fye for like 30 bucks happened or last?

But I liked the amazon gold box deal of lost 1-3 plus signing up for bill me later = 16.33 or something per lost season. I've never seen Lost for that low.

I probably gotta say though that my greatest finds this year were at yard sales! I think my wife found the complete series of Sex In the City (and promptly resold) for like 10 or 15 bucks), Godfather collection for like 10 bucks, Last season of Frasier brand new for like 2 bucks (we'll probably resell), One of the disney cartoon movies for like 2 bucks, etc. etc.
