Transformer BR $9.99 @ BB on Friday

One of the doorbuster specials:

I already have it but for those waiting for a good deal on it and if you can get up that early to wait in a long line then....

Tempting, but still not worth getting up at 4 in the morning standing outside for hours and getting shoved around for. If I can get it online I will, but otherwise forget it. There's nothing else I want at BB on Friday, so this wouldn't be worth it. Great deal though.

Everyone should be warned that a double dip is already scheduled to come out with the release of the sequel in the theaters... it will be an extended cut of the film and have even more extra features. I'm holding off.

Wal-Mart is also price matching anyone's ad prices. May be easier to pick it up there for some people.

Indeed, and it appears to me that Amazon is price-matching every single one of Best Buy and Circuit City's Black Friday DVD/Blu-ray prices!

What the hell? Everytime i try to enter my reward zone number, it tells me that the account info with my reward zone card doesn't match my info with my bestbuy.com account... but everything is the same.

Dammit, i want my free shipping.

I just picked up a couple in the store. They have a $10 rebate sticker on them for owners of the DVD. So it will essentially be free.

Yea, I wasnt going to grab this because of the Extended Cut coming out next year, but with that $10 rebate, I can certainly justify it.

I knew there is a new version coming out next year, but I didn't know it was "extended". I'll have to look for the specs.

Yea, I'm fairly certain its going to be an extended version of the film, as well as some new features.

My brother went to his local BB and said they still had TONS of Transformers blu rays at about 10am when he went there. Kind of surprised, as I thought they would sell out MUCH faster.

I didn't do BB this year... amazon for me, but was it like this at your BB? Tons of Transformers left over for the "afternooners"?

I can't speak for the afternoon, but I strolled into my local BB at about 7AM, and there were at least 20 copies. I ended up picking it up because of the $10 rebate, but yea, I was surprised to see so many left of a doorbuster item... I'm assuming they had a TON in stock.

I was at the same Best But at 5:30 and again at 7:30. The copies on the aisle shelf had greatly decreased, but then a saw a whole new case sitting behind the rack.

I bought it mainly because I wanted something to play on my new Sony BR player I also bought. Plus I have the DVD, so I can get the rebate.

I'm not sure if I want to mutilate my BR slipcover just to cut out the POP for the rebate.
