Freaks And Geeks Yearbook $67.99 On Amazon

Meh, consider me bitter. I am one of those people that bought it directly when it came out from Shout Factory....thinking I had a rare thing in my hands...to show my support...blah blah blah
Deep Sigh.

If it hasn't shipped, call or email them. If it has shipped, you may be SOL but for $51 I would throw a fit over it and send it back if they can't adjust the price. Great deal but I guess I'll stick with the other set since I hate pocket sleeves.

Holy crap!
I didn't bite at $87 during the DD sale since I own the standard set, but $68 is too good to pass up. Thanks dollfins!

With the rising fame of Seth Rogen, James Franco, Jason Segal, and Judd Apatow I think I will wait for the inevitable blu-ray release. This is an awesome deal though, but I cannot afford this and an eventual blu-ray double dip.

I would like to wait for that as well, but isn't there a chance that this was not filmed in HD?

I never watched the show but heard great things about it. This is a damn_good price and may push me over the edge.

I was lucky enough to get a copy of the original shout factory release for $5 total at a local pawnshop a few years back. It was missing the slipcover, but the discs were flawless. Probably the most fortuitous find in all my years buying movies.

My order at amazon had already shipped but I was able to call and get a "one time price adjustment" down to the current price, even though they ended the post-price guarantee program back in September. For $50+ in savings I would definitely have sent it back and re-ordered the cheaper one.

Good point. Went ahead and ordered. I wouldn't mind double dipping this set and giving the DVD version to an HD-impaired friend if this does go Blu someday.

I bought it when it came out, paid full price (which IIRC was $125), and have derived many hours of entertainment from it. No regrets and highly recommended. Note that it has two bonus discs beyond what you get in the regular box set, plus the yearbook is cool.

Hadn't planned on buying this, although I considered it with the 25% off from DD. Had to jump on this though. Doubt we'll see it much cheaper than this --- although I'm sure my buying it insures that it will be dirt cheap some day.

How about a price lowering of the regular box set? For the past 3years, I haven't been able to find the regular box set of Freaks and Geaks, used or new, for less than 40 bucks....does anyone know where I can find it cheap?

i'm kicking myself in the ass because i DID order it from ddd lol i thought it was a good deal at that price and a steal at this price. i guess i will just list my extra copy on half or something since if i cancel from ddd it will screw up my cashback. i'm also glad to hook everyone up with a deal (finally!) since i have gotten so many good deals from all of you!

Ordered it as well. I love the show but $120 sounded too steep for me back when the yearbook was originally released. $68 is still pretty steep, but I figured what the heck?
