I will pass on. I tried couple of combination and prices are not that great. I got most of the titles amazon offers in this deal from CH B1G1 w/ free shipping deal under $12 each.

The two lists keep on changing.

I just tried to pick up 3 movies and the promotion didn't even work, I got billed for everything and had to cancel out of it.

If you follow this link http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/?docId=1000304041 you get a B2G1 sale with 90 titles that expires December 31st.

One is Sony titles, the other is WB titles

I tried to order from the WB list last night, but the discount didn't kick in on the checkout page for me either.

I contacted their help desk and got a very prompt reply, but the answer seemed to be "yes, you should have gotten a discount so go ahead and order and then email us again with your order number so that we can apply the discount"

Um, yeah, I'm not big on possible discounts, so I'll just skip it.

Looks like the WB list is gone, which sucks because it clearly said at the top that the sale ended Dec 31st.

I apologize if this has been mentioned. I put HARRY POTTER 1-3 in for checkout; am I supposed to put in some kind of coupon/code? I don't want to have to click "place order" and then have to cancel or deal w/ Customer Service....

Harry Potter is distrubuted by Warner Brothers (WB). So, you won't get the deal with those HP titles.

Why? Right now they are listed as part of the deal, along with many other WB BDs.

Where are you looking? I think he's confused because the WB B2G1F sale link is dead. So we assumed that sale was over...

It appears that all of the B2G1 deals are dead. There was actually three going on at the same time. One WB, One Sony, and a third with Sony and WB titles. I was browsing the third last night and it was taken off the site while I was tring to check out.

Last night when I was on Amazon I saw that link to this offerand it said "last day" and that it was scheduled to end on 12/17. So they may have changed the end date.

This is the link I'm looking at, which clearly has a 3 for 2 link banner at the top.

Would that be the banner right below the text that states "We're sorry, this promotion has now ended. Thanks for your interest!"? ;-)

here is how you know the deal is dead
go look at most of the titles that were in the "deal" and see how their prices have dropped now that it is not a B2G1 situation

ex. Before The Devil Knows .... was 26.95 during the "promo" it is now 16.99 after the promo

silly Amazon, you don't have me fooled

A ton of the Sony $19.95 titles are now $12.99... which is actually a tiny bit better than the B2G1 deal, which would have been ~$13.32 or so, shipped.

Prior to the sale ending, it said that Dec. 17th was the final day of this sale. I placed my order for all the Potter movies on the 17th and the discount was not applied. I contacted customer service and they said that none of my purchases qualified for this deal.

I'd call back again, preferably at night when the phone is manned in India, and see if you get a better answer.
