Hope they do something about the price on the Avengers Emma Peel megaset. Right now it's 0.96 off MSRP - 98.99. I've been looking for an excuse to get that and Space 1999 megaset.

Picked up The Prisoner Megaset and Space 1999 Megaset for total of $52 delivered.
The Prisoner was $60 and Space 1999 wasn't available during DD's B1G1 a couple weeks ago. This ends up to be a much better deal for me.
While not part of the B1G1 sale, I also picked up Earth 2 The Complete Series for $13.99. That's the lowest I've ever seen for that set.

I hear ya! I had a hard time just trying to hold back $$ for the 25%(!) off sale! I've gotten to where I'll not make a purchase (sale or otherwise) if it'll be less expensive at 20% off the current price. Amazon and DD have made it *very* difficult to keep any $$ in reserve this year and all the B1G1 sales the past year have me jaded.

For those wanting the Emma Peel Megaset at a better price from Amazon, I would suggest shooting them an email telling them that that set is being sold around $60 at multiple online sites. DeepDiscount, DVD Planet, Barnes & Noble, Buy, Overstock, and CD Universe are all selling that set in the $60-70 range.
I did that one time for another DVD set I was eying and the price dropped in a few hours. Maybe it was a coincidence, I don't know, but it can't hurt.

Anyone knows if DD ever had Space 1999 and Prisoner in one of their BOGO sales in the past? Prefer to wait for one of those only to save a few bucks on tax which Amazon started charging in my state. With the economy being what it is, every dollar counts.

I'm not sure about Space 1999, but The Prisoner was part of a BOGO sale before. If I recall correctly it was a couple dollars cheaper than this. (I might be mistaking the price with Danger Man, however)

"The Prisoner" was in one at DD that just ended. I picked up "The Prisoner" and "Danger Man" for $60.77 shipped. I recall "Space 1999" being in one *before* the new slim-pack disk Megaset repackaging but not since. But... the titles in the A&E B1G1 change a bit every time so it's anybody's guess as to which ones will appear the next time.
