As soon as I place an item in my cart it increases in price by approximately $2.


EDIT: Nevermind. I was adding items directly from the search (not the item's page). Apparently, the price listed on the search list is not always accurate.

Yes...very frustrating. A few items I had jotted down have stayed the same, 1 was even lower in price when I put it in the cart (by less than a dollar). Most sets, etc are a little higher once they're in the cart.


I noticed this was the case as well. Still, it's a little irritating.

Pre-orders can be added now for titles coming out during the sale period as long as you add it from the search result page and not the item page itself.

This worked during the last sale and I've already made an order and got the discount on items coming out on the 11th and 18th.

i think the e-mail we get for order shows how much we actually paid (i think it used to be the site that told you after discount code was applied), so maybe post that so we don't have to do the math...

Interesting. I just spoke with two people at DVDPlanet (one was supposedly a supervisor) who both told me it was a single use code! I hope this is just a case of incompetence and not for real...

By the way, anyone planning on getting the Get Smart set from Planet as part of the sale can forget it - the people I spoke with said DP can't adjust their release date from 12/9 to 11/4. I'd been saving store credit for especially for this but it looks as if I'm SOL!

Yep, I am getting the already used message too.

AND they have already raised prices in the last few minutes. I saw someone ordered Batman Complete Series at $75 (before discount)............went to order and it still shows up at $75.........placed in cart, now showing $80.

Not cool on both counts.

i really hope that their code is multiple use. i hadn't even thought about it only being a one time use due to the fact that in previous years, you could use it as much as you wanted.

I just got off the phone with customer support at dvdplanet and was told the coupon is one use only. It's not multiple use as it has been in the past.

The coupon code "save" also works. I just placed an order for 2 dvds coming out Nov 11 and got the 25% off after I entered "save".

I just got off the phone and they said there is a "problem" with the code, and that's why it isn't working a second time. He said something about ordering online or on the phone, and then they would credit back the difference maybe, and when you talk to someone tell them it was by orders of "Christina".

This is such a screwup this time.
