Wow that sucks.

I was thinking about ordering that through DVD Planet, but I might go ahead and order it through DDD.

I've ordered twice from DVD Planet through this sale (my first two times ordering from them ever), I hope I don't run into any issues that you all have mentioned here.

It ends on the night of the 23rd, but it's always best to try and not to wait until the last minute because you just never know. Someone in the DD thread said they received an email saying it has been extended to Monday the 24th, but who knows for sure.

My 2nd and final order...again, I went with whomever had the cheaper price, even if it was a difference of pennies. I told myself I wouldn't spend more than $150, and I barely made it! Virtually none of these were listed as being in stock, so I figure I'll get lots of little packages over the next month or so...quite unlike my orders placed on Day One Of The Sale, when I scored a perfect 14 out of 14 in stock items, and opted for expedited shipping. Paying extra for shipping this time would be absolutely idiotic.

Does anyone know of a place to go to deal with issues with their customer service? They cancelled my order but haven't even initatited a refund for the $160 they took out of my account (Paid with PayPal) and I don't want to clock up the thread here!

Yeah it is a nightmare to deal with this.Tell them to check your payment at [email protected]. They will probably say that their supervisor will take a look at it. You can ask for "Jose". At the same I recommend you initiate a dispute on the non-receipt of your items. You can then escalate it to a claim. After this experience you had wished that you didn't pay using the PayPal. Make sure you somehow get the customer rep talk to Jose. You will get your refund in a week. Good luck.

Just as a sidenote I ran into a similar situation involving Digitaleyes and Paypal. At a place like that, use your CC from now on...not like I need to tell you that, but it's nerve wracking when they take your money and dont give you a refund.

Nope.

The only preorders that worked were those to be released during the sale, and even then there was a "trick" to getting those to work before the release dates.

Thanks, I figured it was the best way to cover my butt since PayPal is so strict!

I called them today and was told to wait until monday to see if the charge drops off, which I don't think it will since PayPal still shows it as an actual charge
